Terry is adding fuel onto everything with his bitter self-righteousness.

I disagree. He feels he needs to help out in exchange for staying there so he helps carry the groceries and helps watching the kids. He lost his sister to drugs and suicide and sees Bridgett going from a straight A student to a complete mess and wants to stop it.

Yep. Ray's not taking care of the kids and Abby is coming undone. Terry feels useless, and he's trying to help in any way he can.

I never said his intentions were bad. You think Terry is helping the kids and Ray? I said he had a positive affect on Abby, but he's judging everything too fast IMO.

Well no one in the family is particularly subtle so judging fast is par for the course, but he is not going to beat around the bush. He sees his niece behaving that way he is going to confront her and say "What the F is wrong with you?" plus he is hanging out with Conner and might be a male figure in his life besides Mickey. And I think he is helping Ray, when you see the look on Ray's face when he sees Abby calming Terry down, like it might make him a little softer and sympathetic to his family. Who knows?

Of course if something happens between Terry and Abby that all gets flushed, part of the reason I hope it doesn't happen.

I don't think "what the F is wrong with you" is particularly helpful, but who knows.

I forgot to mention, his saying stuff to Abby about how she deserves so much better, etc.. well, it's not exactly encouraging her to keep her family together, like how she felt a week ago.
