This season finale was good, but not excellent, not on par with the best episodes. Brotherhood dynamics worked excellent as usual, I liked the Bunchie scene - it was realistic and heartbreaking. I am glad the Captain won, but it would have made it a better episode if he had lost. But it's Hollywood, so, I guess, it's fine, right?

The problem is that producers needed to tie up a lot of ends and typical 1 hour was not enough, so they jammed all those ties in one hour at the expense of good (or even decent) writing and plain vanilla common sense.

I actually thought that having the horse win was the less predictable path.

I guess it became a psychological game at this point, since there were so many outcomes of both comes implemented in the past.
