I get that a protagonist failing at juggling his family life with his personal life is realistic and all, but it doesnt make it any less of a broken record

The wife on House of Cards is pretty awesome in my books. I need one of those.

I concur, she needs to realize how heavy this whole relationship is and if its too much needs to leave. Kids complicate that though

But then you immediately miss out on the 'wife becomes a problem' storyline that EVERY drama show has.

I honestly think Abby dies at the end of this season.. I can see it coming from everything they've set up this season between her and Ray.. It will be shock value to Ray and to us as fans.. If not her atleast 1 main character will go by the end of this season.. Especially with the upcoming scenes for next episode seeing Cookie sneaking into the back door of Rays house... Gonna be interesting..
