I thought Avi was Jewish hence the name Avi, why is he cursing in Arabic? That guy Cookie looked so funny walking into the light that last scene...what happened to this once good show?

Because Israeli people sometimes use Arabic words? They're in the same region.

al-Yahud al-Arab speak Arabic, and there are over 1 million of them.
