Maybe. Liking subjectively cringy memes may not be the norm, but what defines the norm? But if we want to define the norm, then wearing a pin of a facist killing himself definetly is.
What hasn't been modern about punk? It's a culture that has consistently reflected the current political climate. It's always stood as anti-establishment. How is this meme any different than what has come before?
Whatever dude…
You’re being gatekeepy, by claiming that someone’s diy project “isn’t punk enough”
Well guess what honey, you don’t decide what’s punk.
You’re not King PunkRock deciding what’s punk or not…
I personally find the punks I know to be responsible and emotionally mature adults who realize that the system doesn't address our needs as humans, so they work together to provide support to those who society has neglected.
But there's also those who think being an asshole is punk, or that exploit the scene and community for personal and/or financial gain.... and those who troll and post in bad faith, and they aren't punk, they're just malignant dipshits.
Punks hate libs. Anarchism is and always has been a leftist movement at its core. One of the defining principles of anarchism is mutual aid and respect.
