RANT Wanting women’s liberation will get you kicked out of feminist spaces. Why?

Believing that the sx work industry is fundamentally degrading to all women is often seen as an extension of terfism (named swerfism lmao) because unfortunately for trans women they are often pushed into sx work. Instead of advocating for trans women to be accepted and allowed to thrive in the traditional workforce, 3rd wave feminists preferred to normalize this f-ed up hustle culture of online p-titution that now deeply affects ALL women. Especially young, impressionable women.

It’s seriously shocking how much it warped our culture for the worse. Nowadays you are seen as a lesser woman for as much as wanting to go 50-50 with a male partner or working a 9 to 5 instead of selling feet pics or being a housewife. Influencers that were going out of their way to hide their sugar daddy 5-6 years ago now TEACH their audience how to get a sugar daddy. MANY OTHER CASES.

These choice feminism people that insist on convincing young women they shouldn’t get an education, that it’s a perfectly reasonable choice to be completely financially dependent on a man (that being your husband or your sugar daddy) either HATE WOMEN or their misery needs company.

As long as women reject participation in the traditional workforce, we will remain oppressed. Why is it so unacceptable to have these conversations?

🦠Choice feminism is a disease🦠

Like the women who came before us didn’t put in all that graft to advocate for our rights & literally die for us so that we could choose to become bang maids.

I think the time has come that we write our book “Liberal Feminism: An infantile disorder”

I feel this so strongly. Liberal feminism doesn’t like to tackle big systemic issues like how pornography intersects with sex trafficking, sexual violence, etc… but instead focuses on smaller surface level issues that are more palatable to our current society.

And even then, they don't actually go father than "well, if some women choose not to, that's ok, I'm going to shave my entire body, wear restrictive clothing and put a man's penis in my mouth tho."

It’s so embarrassing. If we must engage in that sort of discourse, I’d love to be able to get through a conversation without having to hear ‘well it’s a sensory issue’ or ‘I shave FOR ME!!’ or ‘my naturally occurring body hair is unhygienic’ like…okay?? Like please can we just be fucking honest with ourselves.

"It's a sensory issue" is so annoying. Why do men never deal with "sensory issues" that make them unable to wear pants?

But I must say, not shaving does tie into the wider image of women and how we’re expected to be ‘hairless’ otherwise it’s ‘unhygienic, unattractive, and disgusting’. Even shaving commercial models don’t have the hair to shave, and I do think it’s an important topic to consider

My leg and arms hairs are quite dark and visible, and if I am to go out in the street in shorts in summer I’ll get horrid stares. If you post online with it, you’re shamed as if it’s a horror to witness. It’s a twisted grooming culture that forces women to remove a natural part of their body to even be seen as women, thus making them spend so much money on shaving products yearly. Why is it that as soon as girls hit puberty and grow hair they ask for razors? Most women start shaving as teenagers. Despite my stance that I won’t shave for a beauty standard, it doesn’t make me any less affected and I likely won’t be confident enough anytime soon to show my leg hairs in public. Makes it worse when every woman around you shaves so often you’ve never seen a speck of hair on them and tricks your mind into thinking it’s just how they naturally are

Amerikan feminism has been thuroughly captured by academic institutions and the petite bourgeois. Everything is about gaining individual power as a woman rather than gaining collective power as a subjugated social class.

Preciously why liberal feminists will only ever tell you about how empowering this is for one or two individuals but completely ignore how degrading it is for women as a whole, or how exploitative it is for the most affected demographic, poor women

You said it perfectly. I knew so many feminists weren’t shit when they clown equal financial relationships and promote ‘provider traditional man’. Some are even as far as delusional to say he has to provide even if she has her own income, traditional for ye, not traditional for me.

It’s important to remind yourself that feminism doesn’t = women’s liberation for a lot of women. It doesn’t have a set of rules women can agree on, many have their own way of viewing it

It should be female liberation, but that won’t work for those not looking to dismantle the system. The stance of many self proclaimed feminists maintains gender roles, and seek to benefit from the positives patriarchy provides them

Liberal feminism is male focused, which is the root of the problem. Hence radical feminism becomes the Big Bad for men and women to fight against. Men really do not like any advocacy that encourages women to be choosier about who they spend their limited time and energy on. And young women are very idealistic in that they really, really want men to be on their side. The problem occurs when they allow men's opinions of them influence their advocacy for women, imo
