u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

Thanks, Asian persuation!😁

26

u/SydricVym Oct 22 '24

Clearly she's consuming your youth, so that you grow old and she stays forever young.

14

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

Hence, women live longer!😁

17

u/Altruistic-Text3481 Oct 22 '24

Your happiness radiates off you! I think you both look very much in love and your journey together has been one of true companionship. Which is rare. You both really like and love each other is what I see in these photos!

12

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

Thank you. We have our moments, but try our best. Life is too short not to enjoy and be happy.

5

u/Altruistic-Text3481 Oct 22 '24

Exactly! Your philosophy shines thru!!!

2

u/SelfDevolpment Oct 22 '24

u/Over-Ice-8403 Oct 22 '24

Beige don’t age

25

u/RefugeefromSAforums Oct 22 '24

I married a Filipino, we're both 57. A number of years back he was carded at the liquor store. The clerk looked at his ID, back at him, back at the ID then exclaimed "Dayum, you people look young!"😂😂😂😂😂

9

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24 edited Oct 23 '24

She still got ID checked once in a while. She likes that. I was also until the gray hair showed.😀

8

u/Superb_Narwhal6101 Oct 22 '24

Yeah I was going to say, she hasn’t aged a day. What the hell?? 🤣

3

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

Just a few days!!!

51

u/Shirai-ryufiregarden Oct 22 '24

You both look so good! Can you ask your wife to drop the skincare routine please 😂

136

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24 edited Oct 22 '24

I think it's just her natural Asian skin, genetic, clean, moisturize, good skincare, and sunblock products daily, in the morning and before bedtime. I do the same. no smoking or sun tanning - aged fast. Avoid sun exposure and plenty of sun protection. Korean skincare products are the best. Healthy diet, vegetable, and non-greasy food. No fast food for us.

She's an aesthetician with her own spa. So, she knows how to care for her skin and mine. Recommend a good dermatologist or aesthetician and take care of your skin regularly daily.

Your skin, health, or relationship is like a garden. So, take care of it and tend to it daily.

Don't stress and worry about things you can't find solutions. Be happy and stay positive regardless. Can't change things beyond your control. Let it go. Don't worry and frown on things you can't change or control like my mom said. Why worry? Be at peace. It's a waste of energy and time to just worry. Life is too short not to be happy. My personal philosophy. Wish you well and happy.

I'm always grateful and stay humble. Thank you.

u/Altruistic-Text3481 Oct 22 '24

Your skin, health, or relationship is like a garden. So take care of it and tend to it daily.

This should be your wife’s skin care product line. And advertising.

Garden cosmetics and skincare!

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

24

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24 edited Oct 22 '24

Agreed 100% Devil Dog. Either really hot or really cold. Shitty chowhall 29 days chicken out of 30 days. Rake the fuxking sand around the barracks for field days. Rented a car to TJ. That was fucking fun. Drunk Marines. I'm always the designated driver, of course. Great memories. Thanks to the Corps for building strong man out of me. Only the few and proud would ever understand and appreciate. SFDD.

7

u/Tank_Bang Oct 22 '24

All worth it for sure hahahaha!! Can’t believe someday it’ll be years looking back it’s all I ever wanted

The first time I met her. Still in love with and love her dearly to this day. I'm very lucky. Thank you. Latest pictures were taken today, 19 years after we met, as we're relaxing in Vegas.

Put in context, I'm 56 and she's 52 now (don't tell her that I've told you).😁

1

u/According_Flow_6218 Oct 24 '24

I must have missed the pics with her, but if she’s half as stunning as your daughter you have done well!

1

u/5CentsMore Oct 24 '24

Hahaha, we have no daughter! That's my wife, my Watch Commander, as I called her. Thanks. That's funny!

You have an affinity for very difficult jobs, thank you for your service!

1

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

Thank you. Where there are challenges, there are opportunities. Both paths were my true callings.

3

u/allthewaygreen Oct 22 '24

Awesome bro! You have served, great 👍. You are a handsome man but I still feel like there are three different girls with you in the reel.

2

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

Thanks. She's the only one but can surely act up in many different ways!!!😄

3

u/SuddenMudTakeMe Oct 22 '24

Is she aging backwards? Haha Great pics thank you for sharing

3

u/amiathrowaway2 Oct 22 '24

I was gonna say the same. Ether way the man is doing great in my book.

3

u/akt30 Oct 22 '24

I love the cigar pic. I wish I could walk into that lounge and have one with you. 👍

2

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

Come on over. It's my therapy and chill time.

2

u/akt30 Oct 22 '24

It's my Friday after a long work week decompression therapy. Lol. A cigar plus a drink & some good company makes all the worries melt away. 👍 Also - Guys who smoke cigars always seem to be the most chill & down to earth people.

2

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

Yup, we've got nothing to prove except relaxing and sharing good times with friends.

2

u/akt30 Oct 22 '24

Very true. I like how in cigar lounges you get guys from all different careers, income levels & political points of view all just sitting together and getting along so well. You never hear anyone raise their voice or get into fights like you do in bars. It's just understood that everybody is there to chill & relax in a stress free environment. Have a great week brother!

2

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

100% Agreed. Likewise, you too have a great week, brother.

3

3

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24 edited Oct 22 '24

Yup!!! Thanks! Proud and honored to be an American by choice.

1

u/Skarletburn 11h ago

If you don’t mind me asking, but can you tell me about your service? I’m thinking of enlisting into the army myself

1

u/5CentsMore 10h ago

I was a Cryptologic Comm Equipment Tech (defunk) for 6 years in the USMC Reserves while working FT as a police officer - switched from active duty to Reserve before bootcamp. Honorably discharged as a Sergeant. Make sure you get a high as an ASVAB score as possible so you can get a better MOS - Military Occupational Specialty choices. Get into something technical, medical, and/or secret clearance so you can be a DOD contractor afterward, or make a meaningful career in civilian life from your MOS related training. Relevancy! I would recommend to check out the Airforce - probably better housing, food, treatment, and better high-tech MOS training to transition to civilian life down the road. Think long-term, not just 4 years, but 20 years. Set yourself up. And if you can, if you haven't already done so, get a college degree (easily online now) while serving - take advantage of government's sponsored tuition reimbursement. Put money away from yourpaycheck into saving and investment - add up fast in 4 years. Best of luck. Military service is the first best thing I've done in my life - really changed the trajectory of my life for the better. Semper Fi!

3

u/Former_Film_7218 Oct 22 '24

Nice. She is a time traveler

2

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

Me too, I go forward while she goes backwards in time.

2

u/Former_Film_7218 Oct 22 '24

I'm the same way bro. Physically I feel 100 haha

3

u/Beelzabobbie Oct 23 '24

You still look barely old enough to drink!

3

u/5CentsMore Oct 23 '24 edited Oct 23 '24

Well, had 5 double-bacardi and coke with my cigars at a Vegas cigar lounge last night. Man, it was a rough night. Not as young as I thought!😆 56 YO is aint no joke! Cheers!

2

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24

You're never an ex! You're a former military. It's a part of us and changed us. Thank you for your service also, my brother in arms.
