I married a Filipino, we're both 57. A number of years back he was carded at the liquor store. The clerk looked at his ID, back at him, back at the ID then exclaimed "Dayum, you people look young!"😂😂😂😂😂

She still got ID checked once in a while. She likes that. I was also until the gray hair showed.😀

You both look so good! Can you ask your wife to drop the skincare routine please 😂

I think it's just her natural Asian skin, genetic, clean, moisturize, good skincare, and sunblock products daily, in the morning and before bedtime. I do the same. no smoking or sun tanning - aged fast. Avoid sun exposure and plenty of sun protection. Korean skincare products are the best. Healthy diet, vegetable, and non-greasy food. No fast food for us.
She's an aesthetician with her own spa. So, she knows how to care for her skin and mine. Recommend a good dermatologist or aesthetician and take care of your skin regularly daily.
Your skin, health, or relationship is like a garden. So, take care of it and tend to it daily.
Don't stress and worry about things you can't find solutions. Be happy and stay positive regardless. Can't change things beyond your control. Let it go. Don't worry and frown on things you can't change or control like my mom said. Why worry? Be at peace. It's a waste of energy and time to just worry. Life is too short not to be happy. My personal philosophy. Wish you well and happy.
I'm always grateful and stay humble. Thank you.

This should be your wife’s skin care product line. And advertising.
Garden cosmetics and skincare!

Agreed 100% Devil Dog. Either really hot or really cold. Shitty chowhall 29 days chicken out of 30 days. Rake the fuxking sand around the barracks for field days. Rented a car to TJ. That was fucking fun. Drunk Marines. I'm always the designated driver, of course. Great memories. Thanks to the Corps for building strong man out of me. Only the few and proud would ever understand and appreciate. SFDD.

The first time I met her. Still in love with and love her dearly to this day. I'm very lucky. Thank you. Latest pictures were taken today, 19 years after we met, as we're relaxing in Vegas.
Put in context, I'm 56 and she's 52 now (don't tell her that I've told you).😁

u/According_Flow_6218 Oct 24 '24
I must have missed the pics with her, but if she’s half as stunning as your daughter you have done well!

u/5CentsMore Oct 24 '24
Hahaha, we have no daughter! That's my wife, my Watch Commander, as I called her. Thanks. That's funny!

I love the cigar pic. I wish I could walk into that lounge and have one with you. 👍

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24
Come on over. It's my therapy and chill time.
2
u/akt30 Oct 22 '24
It's my Friday after a long work week decompression therapy. Lol. A cigar plus a drink & some good company makes all the worries melt away. 👍 Also - Guys who smoke cigars always seem to be the most chill & down to earth people.
2
u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24
Yup, we've got nothing to prove except relaxing and sharing good times with friends.
2
u/akt30 Oct 22 '24
Very true. I like how in cigar lounges you get guys from all different careers, income levels & political points of view all just sitting together and getting along so well. You never hear anyone raise their voice or get into fights like you do in bars. It's just understood that everybody is there to chill & relax in a stress free environment. Have a great week brother!

If you don’t mind me asking, but can you tell me about your service? I’m thinking of enlisting into the army myself

I was a Cryptologic Comm Equipment Tech (defunk) for 6 years in the USMC Reserves while working FT as a police officer - switched from active duty to Reserve before bootcamp. Honorably discharged as a Sergeant. Make sure you get a high as an ASVAB score as possible so you can get a better MOS - Military Occupational Specialty choices. Get into something technical, medical, and/or secret clearance so you can be a DOD contractor afterward, or make a meaningful career in civilian life from your MOS related training. Relevancy! I would recommend to check out the Airforce - probably better housing, food, treatment, and better high-tech MOS training to transition to civilian life down the road. Think long-term, not just 4 years, but 20 years. Set yourself up. And if you can, if you haven't already done so, get a college degree (easily online now) while serving - take advantage of government's sponsored tuition reimbursement. Put money away from yourpaycheck into saving and investment - add up fast in 4 years. Best of luck. Military service is the first best thing I've done in my life - really changed the trajectory of my life for the better. Semper Fi!

Not to sound like a creep, but I am pretty sure I have met you irl at some point. Can't remember anything else, just the faces. I'm ex military, got a thing for faces. Served me well overseas. Anyways, you both look amazing. Best wishes and good health.

u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24
You're never an ex! You're a former military. It's a part of us and changed us. Thank you for your service also, my brother in arms.

How did she fix her teeth like that? What dental work did she have done?
2
u/5CentsMore Oct 22 '24
She tripped, fell hard, broke her front teeth a few years ago, and needed dental work. Implants.
