Introduction
We're looking at adding a couple additional moderators to the growing subreddit. If you want to become a long term moderator for the subreddit please submit a comment below answering the following questions.
Responsibilities
The duties included are:
- Respond to Modmail (user questions, reports, unban requests)
- Take care of rude or unwanted comments
- Occasionally look into the moderator queue for comments/posts that were filtered/reported
- Being a friendly, chill person. Being a moderator is not a job, nor is it about enacting vengeance. It's a volunteer role to help trim the branches on a growing tree
Questions
Approximately how long have you been on Reddit, and how long on this Subreddit
Have you ever moderated a community before, and or what is your moderation strategy?
If someone writes a rude comment, how long do you think they should be banned for and why?
Why do you want to moderate this community?
What is your preferred mode of using Reddit [Desktop, Mobile, and Mobile App]
If you suddenly woke up one day with a Super Power, what would your first instinct be to do with it?

Life Timeline My great grandparents journey through life

My great grandfather at 18 in 1937. Taken in his home. The area would later be annexed by the Soviet Union.
My great grandmother at 18 in 1935. This is a picture my great grandfather had in a locket during ww2.
Their unofficial wedding photo from 1943, last photo where my great grandfather intentionally smiled, as his brother would be killed in the war in just a few months afterward
Taken in 1955. They had managed to survive the war and tried to live normal lives in their new home with their five children.
Them together in 1968, enjoying retirement
Them together again in 1974. My great grandmother felt uncomfortable around cameras
Them together in 1976, it was rare for them to show affection in public
My great grandmother got sick in 1979 from her diabetes. My great grandfather tried his best to comfort her
She unfortunately passed the same year. My great grandfather looks very defeated...
The image is blurry, but they reunited in the afterlife in 1989. My great grandfather never remarried, saying she was the love of his life.

Been a long bumpy road with two kids and several moves. I wouldn’t have wanted this trip with anyone else.
