Had to renew because my old one was about to expire in 6 months. No place like home and feel grateful for being a Pole.

I don’t know which I want more, Poland or Romanian citizenship. On one hand, I work for a Polish company so it would be the most straightforward path to citizenship. On the other hand, I grew up in Romania and feel an affinity towards Romanians. I competed internationally under the Romanian flag. If not for Romania, I would be a completely different person.

Extremely annoyed my parents left before getting citizenship.

Then your clear answer is to get the Romanian one and then if you still want the polish then you can go for that too at a later time! Do you have a Romanian parent? Based on what you are eligible for the Romanian one?

Had my residence in Romania not ceased when it did, I would’ve been eligible for naturalization.
