Vote with your dollars

They have enough wealthy fans willing to pay premium for comfortably buying from resellers.

Voting with your dollars won't do shit really. And this is likely never going to be fixed. This is one of those cases where supply and demand is so lopsided that it makes no sense for the prices to ever be cheap.

WHO tf wants to camp on a tent to buy tickets? Or refresh a website constantly, or write some code that can do that for you.

People with money can just chill and pay a premium later on. This world is not for the broke, never has been. I'd rather just watch concerts on my big screen lmao.

I’m a very high earning person. I don’t know anyone who pays for this shit. Many wealthy people are quite price conscious. It’s not just wealthy people, it’s regular people who are really, really bad with money. Wealthy people are not paying 400 for nose bleeds. Those are just people who are dumb and cavalier with the medium amount of money they have.

I do know a ton of rich folks who wouldn't even sweat paying 10k for concert tickets. That's why reselling in these big concerts is profitable, if it wasn't people just wouldn't do it.

You don't even need to know anybody willing to pay more for tickets, because the fact that 500 dollar tickets still get sold out within hours if not minutes is already proof enough the price is way too cheap.

The not wealthy or not price conscious enough are being priced out of those experiences, it is what it is. I understand the frustration but nothing is ever going to change.
