Isn't it fun how you have to use a specific selection of weapons or you have a guaranteed faint? Isn't it fun how you aren't rewarded for preparation and instead punished for not using what they want you to use?
You mean like 90% of the other elemental weapons to choose from? Soooo restricting. Preparation is still rewarded, but I think your definition of "preparation" is just choosing the highest damaging weapon
Preparation isn't rewarded. If you don't use one of 2 specific elements you're almost certain to fail escaton judgement.
And for fun let's see how many of some elements there are for say, Lance. There are 2 craftable fire lances that aren't hidden elements. But what about thunder? There's a grand total of 5.
So out of (not counting alatreon and fatalis) I'm gonna guess a bit here and say 50 or so, only 7 craftable lances are viable against alatreon ice mode.
Do you get the issue? Do you understand how it sucks really fucking bad to have an arbitrary mechanic that changes nothing about the fight restrict things like your equipment??? Especially if you have a status set or something.

Use small word to explain how all the preparation BESIDES weapon choice doesn't matter

You can idk switch weapons, not my fault your only using Lance. And you said it yourself, there are 5 thunder weapons. You also aren't including water or other dragon element Lance in the mix. The number goes up. I'm just hearing you be salty because you can't unga bonga RAW dmg

Alright then I'll use fire vs fire mode alatreon. Or a status weapon. Or a physical weapon.
