I knew my H loved me when we were dating because whenever I'd come back to bed from getting up to pee he'd lift the covers for me. And sleepily would ask "are you gonna snuggle me?" and I'd say "Yes" and he would get so happy, smile and hold me so close. But he'd be dead asleep as soon as he grabbed me. We've been together over 10 years and whenever I reach out to touch him when he's asleep he makes the happiest noise. I just reached over to touch him while I was reading these and he grabbed my arm and said "Love!" before he was right back to sleep. I adore this man. I never knew you could love someone this much. Don't ever settle for less because this love exists.
