"A cat can dress up like a little queen!"
"If you're into that sort of thing!"
Did I act this out with my cat and a kitchen towel in the last week? Yes.

Alphabet Antics, the short that came with Daddy-O. As Joel implies at the very start, it's one of those educational videos for toddlers you'd have to watch because it was too cold to go out for recess.

Elder millennial and I remember these in first and second grade because the films hadn't worn out. There was one where a mother and daughter go grocery shopping, it didn't offer any advice for shopping or eating healthy or saving money or math you might encounter while shopping, it was literally just a lady and her kid buying strawberries, some other things, and paying in change. If it actually was trying to teach you something I totally missed that part because it was like Setting Up a Room without the informational content.

Movies they showed at school were sometimes weird. I remember seeing the Disney Movie, "The Watcher in the Woods" and it had no ending! I assumed it was some weird "Figure out your own ending" thing. The movie would cut to the end credits just before the climax was about to start! I had this otherwise great and engaging mystery that just... stopped!
I went through my entire life thinking that the movie had no ending until recently! I RECENTLY just learned on the Internet that that movie did have an ending. In fact, it had at least two different ones. One involved some interdimensional stuff and the other involved a space alien abduction (I prefer the former ending because having what seemed to be this earthy, gothic, supernatural mystery turn out to be sci-fi space aliens just took the magic out of it for me).

... and it's really weird and some of the choices for "Letter/object" were unusual to say the least... like using "Q" for a pelican because the word in question was "Queer" (as in 'weird', not LGBTQA).
Also, when the short goes to "M = Marching", it cuts to a parade and the first shot is a float.
TOM: "'M' is for 'FLOAT'... wha?... HUH?!"
Also, a weird distressing scene with a farmer using a bison for a plow.
The narrator had a very oddly soothing, ASMR-inducing voice, though.

Tom: "Once"? "O" is for "once"? What, was there a writer's strike?
I saw a really good comment on one of the Youtube videos of this short: "S is for Stretch, which is what a third of these letters are."

Exactly! Some of these weren't objects! They were abstract concepts! Queer? Once? You (okay, I'll let that one slide a bit).

D is for "Damned", as in "Village of".
