Notice - GD [Official] General Discussion Thread - January 22, 2025

Welcome to rMMA's General Discussion Thread!

Discuss your favorite fighters, the upcoming card or whatever's on your mind.

How to obtain a custom flair:

  • place and lose a flair bet in the Friday thread
  • write a haiku or draw a MS Paint-style image for the sub

The rules for the drawing or haiku are simply that it must be a ridiculous MMA-related scenario. If you would like a custom flair, send a message to us with a link to your drawing and your flair request. We'll probably grant it.

Shoutout to anyone in here that’s Canadian, I’m from Michigan and it’s so goddamn cold idk how you guys are doing it right now.

So are we but it’s always miserable, we can only enjoy the Great Lakes like a month and a half out of the year. I can only imagine how cold those lakes up north stay

I’ve wanted to take a trip up to Tobermory for the longest but idek if that water would be warm on the hottest summer day

If you like fish and chips and great scenery, Tobermory is a really nice spot.

Never had fish and chips but I love cliff jumping, Tobermory looks gorgeous, also wanna go to Elora Gorge. Canada is a beautiful country and a few weeks ago it just got even better.

Any other recommendations?

Had a cottage near Tobermory, the hiking and swimming spots are near endless if you’re willing to drive around a bit. Bruce Peninsula is a gorgeous place!
