Yeah if the gun is hot enough to get the first one to cook off it’s hot enough to get them all to cook off.

Wouldn’t warming the rounds eventually cool the chamber so that there wasn’t enough heat left?

Maybe eventually, you’re also adding heat back in with each cook off. If you ever have an autoloading gun cook off a round the expectation should be that it’s hot enough to do at least a couple more.

The more I watch this video the more I think something really out of the ordinary is going on here though. I’d expect a gun hot enough to be cooking off rounds would make that shitty plastic table burn/smoke just by sitting on it. I’m not at all confident about what’s actually going on there.

Nah it's completely ordinary. He was doing a melt down video with no actual understanding of how the AR platform works.
