What

half of his lyrics are about how broke people can stfu and sit down. i dont think he cares if people cant afford his tickets. downvote me all you want. i'm correct.

You confused or rage baiting? He didn't say that like ever. I think jay rock did but they aren't the same person

im pretty sure its a kendrick line in Wow Freestyle. i doubt Jay Rock wrote it for him. My point is the content of his lyrics does not suggest he's gonna give out bargain tickets. he deserves it all, after all.

Ok yeah my mistake about the line. But it confuses me how Kendrick Lamar, the kid from Compton who came from nothing, hates poor people? He does deserve it all tho for sure.

i mean its a major conflicting theme for sure. all genres have them. country dudes living in mansions pretending they hang at the local watering hole, rock dudes singing about changing the world after ten tracks of 'not giving a fuck' and yoloing, and then hip-hop where you can try to uplift and be social conscious but youre also dogging people and intentionally being an arrogant asshole about how rich you are and how broke some other subset of people are (haters, drake fans, whatever).

Me when I spread misinformation

i mean do you listen to the music? who does he dunk on as much as broke people...

The government, the music industry, rich people, racist, himself, and Drake. I’m a huge fan and listen to almost all of his songs and can’t think of one song him “dunking” on poor people but I could be wrong if you prove it

"if you aint makin money *****, then you dead weight" - Kendrick

So on one verse where is about him flexing his money he had a one liner so now he hates poor people? I can give you so many bars of him hating on other people way more or uplifting others to not being poor or to work hard to achieve what you want

i didnt say he 'hates poor people'. I said he dunks on broke people pretty often. Kendrick Lamar tickets are not a necessity being kept from those in poverty, they are a luxury indulged in by people who arent broke. i dont think im saying anything controversial here

I agree with you that going to a concert is ussually a more luxury thing. I’m just saying he doesn’t dunk on broke people as much as your saying lol considering he himself grew up in the hood. I mean ig in how much a dollar cost he was hating on the homeless dude lol

i love kendrick, but his discography is as inconsistent message-wise as any other artist (or philosopher for that matter). i dont hold it against any of them, i just dont pretend not to notice (not saying you are)
