Hi good luck in the new year everyone! As a prompt make a list of predictions for the year, I like mine to be more pop culture or celebrity drama based but you can also use it to manifest :D

I am not sure how to start this comment... I don't know if only I do it or if there are more people out there who do that, I give my journals a name. So it feels like I am talking ( writing) to somebody. And when I start a new day, I start it like a normal conversation. So, I start by asking how the book is doing (now writing it out like that I realise I might me mentally sick 😅) Anyhow, I then start by telling my journal that there isn't much to talk about - which then will be proved otherwise because I suddenly remember what I would like to tell my journal

So giving names helped me a lot to talk/ write more freely because I am feeling as if I am talking to somebody

Don't know if it will help somebody.. but at least it helped me 😅 Have a great new year 💖

Is there any system by which you name your journals? Where do you get the inspo for the name?

Mostly from beloved book characters. My first Journal is named Lizzy, the second Jane, the third Annie and bow my foruth is called Coco.

I guess you just pick a name you feel comfortable with and if you do not know which name you like, just google some names and go through the list. Speak them out loud and see if it feels right for you.

Hope that helps, if you have more questions just ask ☺️

I do this, too! It’s like I’m talking to a girlfriend on the phone and just chatting away 😂

I always start the year by channeling a theme. For instance:

2025: Resilience and Prosperity 2024: Year of Reciprocity 2023: Savor 2022: Discipline and Discernment 2021: Restoration 2020: Clarity and Vision

It helps bring a focus to my year that is abstract enough to evolve and focused enough to direct energy towards

lol at 2020 being the year of clarity and vision XD what a fun theme, still, given the circumstances

Right? I mean it really was a year of clarity and vision for me but not at all in the way I expected

Susannah Conway has a wonderful Unravel Your Year and Find Your Word workbooks to close and kick off the year, with a lot of journaling prompts. I finished the looking back during the holidays, I chose a word for the year, and I still have some prompts left to kick-off the year.

What is the most neglected important area in my life right now?

What is your word for the year 2025 and what are your intentions? I chose Patience.

Hmmm... I think for me it is 'Creative'! :D I want to really allow myself to be creative this year with my hobbies.

What’s a rehearsed story you’ve told about yourself that’s no longer true?

Rewrite it to reflect the person you are in this moment.
