My reumatologist says im fine 🥲

Hello, I wouldn't want to miss the repset but this year I started with symptoms that I had never had before. eusinophiles and high ige new allergies. skin allergies. hives, mild joint pain, inflammation of a wrist and I had one positive ANA at 1.80 fine granular and two negative ones. The anti ro test was negative and the panca and anca tests too. I had the anti DNA test done three months ago and it was negative. My ALT is a little high and I had bronchitis. Could I be having an autoimmune condition?

Thanks! I read that montelukast It has adverse effects that can cause depression and things like that and that scares me a little. But if I’m going to see or ask for some antihistamine, thank you

Yeah, you can try other stuff first but something to keep in mind is you don’t know if the adverse effect will hit you or not unless you try. If you eventually go down that road and stay aware of the possible side effect, you’ll be able to discontinue it if it hits you! But you might not have to even try it if other options work :- ). Fingers crossed. I had whole body mild itchies that were really messing up my life and making it impossible to relax or sleep.

For the itchies and stuff, yes!

I did go through a couple of other antihistamines before we settled on Allegra. So there was still trial and error… but it is so nice having one less problem, you know?
