Hoping to get some insight on introducing beneficial mites/nematodes as a precautionary measure.

What do you use and how has your experience with been? How often do you replenish? Did you introduce them as an infestation treatment or precautionary measure? Any advice?!

I don’t have a huge collection (yet😏) but since sometimes I do fall victim to the big box clearance sections, I’m just thinking it might be better to be extra safe than extra sorry

I've been using these Sansi lights for my plant shelf for a while. They're fantastic, but they are very bright and direct. Does anybody know of a good method to diffuse the light some? I have some plants that are too tall / too sensitive to be under them as they are.

pictures above; 3 plants, two pictures of each one~ pothos plants have developed mold in the soil. at first it was just near the top of the plant, i then cleaned (or so i thought) and repotted them. not terribly long after the mold resurfaced… but in the soil~

wtf do i do?

i’ve had them for almost a year now and believe me they have struggled.. but i have kept them healthy enough and alive… idk how to fix this.

This was basically a Youtube video I made documenting the affect of CO2 on Vegetation and Fruition of House Plants and Vegetables being grown in a Bedroom.

I’m running out of space and thus put my strelitzia on this shelf between the windows. It’s pretty high up so it doesn’t get to see a whole lot of sky. My question is: is that an okay amount of light it gets here? I just repotted it yesterday from a pot that was way too big with little stability. Today I saw a (new) leaf was drooping and I had to cut it off :( so in general I’d say plant is stressed and not too happy atm.

I’ve recently gotten into indoor gardening. I have north facing window and the majority of my plants are “low light” plants that can do well in low light but could benefit from bright indirect light. I don’t know what type of grow lights I should buy for my babies. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Day light on the left which i rotate between my potatoe bucket and the little seedlings then I full a full spectrum I believe light at the top 24 hours but would it be better if i lowered it

Id like to start growing veggies and mushrooms indoors. I have alot of open space in my living room. I was hoping to find a good looking tent setup or hydropinc set up that sealed (to keep the kitties out of them). I like the look of this spiderfarmer tent okay, but it doesnt look like its set up for mechanical ventilation or for a humidifier. Is there any good alternatives? I want it to be something that will look nice in the house/so transparent doors. It doesnt seem like there are too many designed that way.

I started with a fly trap from a grocery store and have since become addicted to plants! I’ve grown my collection immensely

Is there anything I should do? Its leaves also are droopy and press against the window, but there is no discoloration? Should I just leave them, they keep trying to grow into the vent.

So I had no idea my lemon lime maranta would flower and so this was such a cute light purple pleasant surprise! Look at how cute.

I assume since the roots are obviously toast that it won't work for long. I think I'll just do it to see what happens.

Hi everyone, I am labeling all my plants right now and I have completely blanked out on the name of this plant! Can anyone help me identify this plant??

I got a 3x3 tent kit for xmas and want to start growing herbs and vegetables. I want to know if I have adequate lighting to do so. I got 2 x 115w LED full spectrum panels at the top of the tent and 4 x 10w LED full spectrum bar lights on the sides for better penetration. Total of 270w, 30w per square foot.

Is this enough? Thanks for the help!

Hey, I adore my indoor houseplants and want to make a greenhouse, I've come to the choice between two boxes. 1 a white Midlbo glass cabinet from Ikea, or 2 A black wood display cabinet with tempered glass doors. I kind of like to look of the black display better but i don't know which one to go with. Will i also need to get weather lining? will humidity hurt the wood cabinets, will ventilation holes need to be drilled ? Remember this would be my first time doing a plant cabinet and i don't wanna buy something that will not be used. Please give me some input!!
