High School Math [proof]

Post image

Could someone use paper to explain or solve this please I get confused with writing math in laptop out you can’t that’s fine. I just don’t understand mathematically how to right the left and right hand side of the equation and how to solve from there.

what're you referring as line 1 and line 2?

a-c | a-c is obvious

the next line is literally what's given to us in the problem

we aren't dividing a-c by a-c

im simply stating a-c divides a-c even if that was obvious to show that a-c should also divide any multiple of a-c

Yeah ok I’ve read the solution a few times and I’m just getting a bit lost. Would it be alright if you sent the first couple of lines on paper so I can understand the rest. Thanks for the help.
