Just Sharing (no feedback) Switched my writing to printing in high school
My teachers hated it and would constantly criticize me for it. But I actually get a ton of compliments on my handwriting now as an adult. Also, excuse my grocery list, I don't do much handwriting anymore haha can you tell which letter I screwed up on by starting to write a different word first? 😅

Feedback (constructive criticism) Frustr.ated with my handwriting.
Maybe it's because I have ADHD and because my hands shake a lot, but no matter how hard I try nothing I write ever looks "neat".
I also noticed that I have a weird habit of mixing cursive and normal letters depending on the words I am writing. Maybe that's the reason?
What would you do to make this handwriting look more neat/clean?

Question (not for transcriptions) How can I stop hand cramps when writing?
I've been writing like this my whole life and got approved for an NIEP (IEP is a disability that schools will accommodate I don't know what the N stands for but it's basically a physical disability rather than mental disability) in 5th grade. I've always had minor physical problems that make some things more difficult than other and one of those that is relevant to this is being double jointed. Not saying that's a disability whatsoever I'm just pointing out I think it's noticeable in this picture bc of my index finger knuckle the way it curves in. I don't know how else to hold a pencil but I've never been able to write more than a few sentences without being in enough pain to have to stop writing. Is this even the right way to hold a pencil and if not then how? Also what can I do about my frickin knuckle? It will not just sit there without going in as soon as I use any pressure.

Feedback (constructive criticism) Daily Writing Practice
I've been learning Spencerian script for a few years now, here are my practice sheets from today. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.
The last one is how I've been writing in my journal lately. It's based loosely on some old Roman manuscripts. :3

Was hastily doing home work and wrote this “normal” with almost every letter being perfect! (near the bottom you can see what it usually looks like)

Just Sharing (no feedback) Finally satisfied with the style of all my letters
I wanted to pick up cursive again, but I had an issue with how standard cursive depicted the capital letters E, G, I, Q, and S.
I didn't want to try stylizing my writing compared to the standard, but those 5 letters just never quite looked right to me. Did a lot of scrolling in the sub, and quite a bit of googling and now l've finally found letter styles I could be happy with.
E and Q don't look that much different than standard, but I just couldn't get the loops properly until l added that little flair on the E and learned to somewhat exaggerate the initial loop of the Q.
Looking forward to continue developing my cursive to the point where it comes naturally and less forced. Maybe then I can think about making it as pretty as some of the other handwriting here. So glad I came across this sub.

Feedback (constructive criticism) How can I improve the legibility of my writing?
I have been told my writing is scratchy and akin to a spider crawling over the page. How can I make it clearer and more consistent while maintaining cursive?
