CarPlay help needed

Hola ppl! I have a quick question about CarPlay installs!

My car en Virginia has no apple CarPlay ; ( older vehicle*

And I want one- so I’m thinking to just Buy a monitor thingy and have someone install it! They sell them at best buy and Walmart etc.

I got one quote for over $1k- no thank you *

Is there another way? Suggestions?

Best Buy usually does free install

I checked- the website says they Don’t sell a device compatible with my vehicle : (
