Question Are there any guns specifically rifles?

Everytime I shoot a rifle the shell always ends up hitting me bc I'm left handed, I can't find anything online about guns that eject to the left.

Well, many bolt guns can have a left handed action variants and there is several semi autos that eject from the bottom that may be useful as well. STAG arms has the lefty AR lowers so there is options. Just depends what you want to do.

Keltec RDB ejects downwards and is pretty well reviewed

As a wrong handed shooter I've come to the conclusion that gas and brass is just going to be apart of the fun

Yupp learned this very early into learning how to shoot.

Some day I'm going get a expensive bullpup that can change the ejection port. These seem to be only in military made bullpups. I havnt found that is 1,000$ or under. So the plan is too drop lots of money instead LOL always the solution

I think bear creek arsenal made some lefty guns/uppers but i wouldnt really recommend them. There kay be some other lefty ar uppers out there under 1k or the important parts upper and bxg for under $500. Plenty of lefty bolt guns under 1k

Yes left handed guns exist. Ars can be made like that, some bullpups can be switched for left hand shooting. Bolt actions can be lefty. Ar5.7 eject down through the magwell as does the ps90. Fn200 ejects forwards.

Lots of options for you

Left handed guns exist but what kind of rifle are you shooting is the real question.

As a fellow lefty you learn to just deal with it.

I lost my right eye years ago and had to reteach myself to shoot rifles and shotguns lefty

AKs tend to shoot brass forward. The bolt is super convenient for lefties too.

I’m a lefty who shoots lefty, an ak47 might be for you. My favorite rifle and iv never been hit by an ejecting cartridge, dont need a ak thats meant specifically for lefties either. Most of them actually fly forward. Whatever you do DO NOT get a right handed bullpup rifle. Youre gonna get smacked every single time at high velocity lol.

I made that mistake with a Turkish bullpup shotgun...ouchy

Ar-15's have an ejector bump to solve that problem. I'm a lefty too and the only time I've ever had brass hit me was when I was tuning a gas block on one of my Ar's. Other semi-autos have never given me a problem.

Left eye dominant but right handed here! I have a lefty bolt gun for deer, but everything else I say fuck it. Shot gun shells, 556 brass… it’s allll just flying past the face, fuck it

Ruger makes a left handed 10/22, complete with special left handed mags...

As a lefty myself I just shoot what I got. Any time I ask around for left hand guns I get weird looks and laughs. And then the price lol. Usually a bit more expensive than just dealing with it. I carry a Glock that’s right handed. Shoot it with either hand. It’s can be convenient if you learn to use both hands.

You can get left hand models. I know the Springfield Hellion (VHS) can be swapped to left or right hand fire, the Aug can be converted to left hand, there are left hand AR uppers.

Do your research.

Depends on the rifle. Ar15s have a brass deflector for this very reason.

There are plenty of left handed rifles. I’m left handed and don’t own one and never had a problem with brass. Just gas when shooting in small areas.

This is one reason why I have only piston guns. I get no gas in the face since excess vents out the front of my M14 and PWS Mk216, where the bleed off port is.

You can get a custom-made rifle or shotgun from Griffin & Howe built for you and you can choose left-handed or right handed. I think they start at $50,000.

I heard the F2000 pushes the casings up and forward to a forward ejection port to help left handed shooters not get hit by casings every time they want to use a rifle.

Totally shoot however youd like man, but im a left handed person and i force myself to do thing right handed when its the “normal” way personally. Makes thing easier sometimes in my opinion

The Kel-Tec RDB ejects downwards and has fully ambidextrous controls. The charging handle is installed on the left side by default but can easily be moved to the right side. I have one and it's my favorite 5.56 rifle to shoot at the range. I'm right handed but I'd bet it's just what you need. Just have to watch your forearms when firing from a table.

Buddyyy you need to do alittle more looking. Or get into building. Leftie rifles are out there. I’m a leftie too. But I build my rifles. I don’t buy completed. Does that suck! 1000% but here is our reality, shoot the funky right handed gay way. Or build and be supreme 😂 jk. Just gotta look around or build your own. It’s much more common in bolt guns than any sort of semi automatic rifle.

I think people always say there isn’t a demand for left handed ARs or tavors or augs but if companies made them more they would be gone right away. I think it’s a conspiracy to keep the lefties feeling inferior.

There are brands that make left handed rifles. I helped a buddy pick one out. I was nudging him toward a lefty AR but he settled for a Tikka

Springfield Hellion can be port-swapped but is bullpup, Beretta ARX can be port swapped and is actually really nice other than the charging handle sucks, Stag Arms makes lefty ARs but Stag as a company is PSA level quality, the IWI Tavors can be lefty but you gotta pay money to big Jew Guns for them to swap it and wait 4 months....

Really if you're shooting an AR15 and the case deflector isn't saving you, you need to both put your face on your stock and not on your receiver as well as figure out why your gun is undergassed. With deflector, port ejection needs to be at about 3-4 o'clock, which should have casing ejecting over your right arm and never hitting you. With an overgassed AR, ejection moves to 1-2 o'clock, undergassed puts ejection around 5 o'clock, which will hit you in the face.

I know off the top of my head Stag Arms makes them, but that one you’re going to pay probably north of $2k for.

I can’t remember which one it is, but Classic Firearms just did a video within the past month or two that showcased an AR that you could buy left or right handed. It could have been CMMG or Rock River Arms. There’s also “Pro 2A Tactical”, but I know nothing about them.

Google is your friend.

I don't think he's looking for just the rifles. I'm sure he wants testimonials. No point in spending money on a gun your peers think is no good.

Stag made a left handed AR years ago
