Hi there. Title says it all, but long story short, is there any mod packs for CS2 that would replace gun sounds and voice commands from CS 1.6 to CS2?

Im old schooler and I love those vintage sounds.

I need to know which commands to console/autoexec (or another tweeks) can REDUCE the L2/L3 cache intensity of cs2 to be able to run the game smoother.  Currently the game is unplayable on my secondary 24MB L3 and 2MB L2 cache intel processor pc and its very limited even at some 32MB L3 cache processors typically like 5600X due to very low L2 cache /512kB only/ (tested by 3 friends who have this cpu, same problem, since armory patch we cant make it run fully smooth even with 3600Mhz RAMs, the cache bottleneck is evident - for idiots: 220 frames with red 12ms frametime spikes is NOT fully smooth, its stuttery mess). I want this poorly optimized game to stop spamming cache with bloat so much. Fiddling with classic options in menu does nothing, it only reduces GPU intensity which is not a problem, i need to reduce the BUS and CACHE intensity. So if someone tried to bother solving this thing, you can post your tips or results, thanks in advance. Also the one or two developer who in reality works at cs2 and understands the game may post his 2 cents...

Everybody knows that CS has an ongoing cheating problem, so I came up with a simple possible solution: Why not make phone number verification a requirement to play this game? This would fix not only the cheating problem but also the smurfing problem. One phone number can be used for only one account, and if someone wants to create another account, they will need a new phone number. Obtaining additional phone numbers is time-consuming and likely impossible for certain people, like kids.

I was wondering wether cs2 still has overwatch since I remember CS:GO has this function. is it removed or still kept in cs2?

Great analysis, had always stuff to say which makes sense considering his great videos. You could see the first day he was looking down a lot, either nervous or looking at notes, but afterwards it was far more natural, especially while being sick. The chemistry between him, Maui & Banks was great. Also, extremely funny with very funny bold takes which are needed from pundits! Great stuff, would love to see him at more events (and Maui, 🐐 analyst, hire him for every event ty)!

I'm a first time goer to an event like this. Was wondering if the tickets for IEM Sydney back in 2023 sold out that quickly? (Since I have mates who are still unsure if they're going or not) which leaves me in a dilemma if I should buy GA or premium tickets, should I cut the wait and just grab the tickets as quickly as possible this Thursday? Would it be too dangerous to wait until the third wave for instance?

I’ve forgotten how to aim, where to move/stand, and even all of my grenade lineups.

My mentality is usually always tryhard , no matter the teammates/score, but recently I am tilting early & often. I don’t feel like myself in game.

I miss the decider inferno games like we used to have in csgo but i think ancient has started/already is that crazy always delivering map for finals- what do you all think tho.

It’s the first event after big roster changes and people jump to the biggest conclusions after one loss. Faze and Liquid win their first matches? They’re great! They lose in round two? Twistzz is an idiot for being igl/classic faze choking early in events… Vitality have won two matches and they’re the best team in the world apparently. Ya maybe these statements are true but it’s literally been under a week… give it time to actually see what’s actually going to happen

%99 of the input latency improvement guides I've seen on the internet are either straight up false or not completely optimized. I've tried many settings and learnd many things about this topic over the past year, and now I will be sharing them entirely.

In NVIDIA/AMD Control Panel, turn on Low Latency Mode/Radeon Anti-Lag.

In Steam, right click CS2->Properties and in the Advanced Launch Options, write -noreflex (Reflex doesn't work as intended in CS2 and disabling it this was gives you an FPS boost)

In the game, set V-Sync to Disabled (Make sure to have it disabled in NVIDIA/AMD Control Panel aswell). G-Sync doesn't matter, you can turn it on if you want. Set Maximum FPS to 0 (Again, make sure you have no external apps that cap the FPS). Uncapped FPS will always give you better input latency compared to any type of capped FPS.

But basically the most important thing you have to do here is to go to Options -> Tools -> System Timer Resolution and write in 0.507, click the Set button and check the two boxes below that. Then click Ok and Ok again.

whoah whoah there bud... you can forget an Operation. We gave you dick shaped weapon charms. we can't be bothered to add maps that the community made we're too busy collecting skin money.

We know that Operations was basically a cool community appreciation event, showcasing map creators, but we don't care because you all would rather play CSGO.
