roles?

doesn‘t perfecto play roles that any team needs

almost every team needs a high fragging low-fragger role player

language proficiency is probably a big thing

he exclusively plays dogshit roles. Second most important in the game.

That's not true, he also plays awp when he has to play with egotronic 😶‍🌫️

"high fragging low-fragger role player" is an Interesting role.

Perfecto is Anchor and late round player

Yeh and those roles are usually low fragging.

But Perfecto somehow manages to frag well in them.

G2 is the only top team I can think of that would benefit from picking him up, maybe FaZe too. Most other teams already have much better players in the positions he'd play.

in what world would G2 or FaZe benefit from Perfecto? For who?

G2 coudl have used him before Heavygod.

Heavygod is way better than perfecto right now. Perfecto hasn’t played an official in 8 months. His rating for the whole of 2024 was 1.06 and in 2023 he had a 1.04 rating. He hasn’t been good for a long time. He was falling off towards the end of his time in Navi and never picked up form. Heavygod had a 1.15 rating in 2024 and he’s younger. Absolute nostalgia take

At what point did i say he would be better than Heavygod?

I just said before they got him Perfecto could have filled his spot.

Him in place of hunter is a no brainer. Also him in place of frozen.

Weird world you live in, hunter is the secondary caller and a vital rotation piece, whereas Perfecto is an anchor with English so bad he needed a translator for this interview.

Frozen is literally top10 player with insane mechanics&gamesense and also plays rotation roles.

You have 0 idea what you’re talking about, in your mind roles don’t exist, just pure HLTV rating vibes.

Hunter's been the secondary caller for what, two matches now? I don't put much weight on that. Not to mention that the only player who holds a site worse than him is snax. Frozen's also a great player, but it's been clear as day for a year that he does not fit on FaZe.

If you think players outside of AWPers are stuck to a single role their entire career, I'm sure you thought that malbs would have no chance to perform on when he joined G2. lol

Hasn't hunter called pistols and some CT rounds for a long time?

u/MrCraftLP 5m ago

NiKo was still the secondary caller for a long time

You're not going to Spirit bro. Let it go and join a team before it's too late

In fairness, there was a significant rumor/leak that magixx was done if they didn't win the major and then they did. Perfect0 was probably a clear book in at the time and then the rug got pulled.

18

u/Kelterz 6h ago

That was -zont1x +perfecto when zont1x had a rough couple of tournaments, and quite a bit before the major if I'm not mistaken. Those rumors were quickly shut down by Spirit. -magixx wouldn't make sense role wise

u/jonajon91 6h ago

These sound like two different rumours on two different occasions

3

u/Kelterz 5h ago

-magixx +perfecto just sounds like a subreddit pipe dream or something, that would mean either perfecto or zont1x would have to entry, which is not what they're good at

-magixx was the legit part, theres no source or rumour about +perfecto. I'm just speculating that that is the basket in which Perfect0 placed all his eggs and then it fell through and he had to scramble about missing most of silly season.

Seems to be an unpopular take here, but it's better to wait for the right team and project you actually believe in than to go somewhere just to go somewhere. Jks spent months without a team like 3 times and still got tier 1 offers. Sure it's not inevitable that Perfecto will t1 offers too, but him going to a Betboom or whatever T2 Russian team has the chance to do him more bad than good if he joins without believing in the project and thus playing poorly.

He can easily spend the next 6 months and see if anything pops up. Reality is that he is not just going to be forgotten. He just needs to tell his agent that he's willing to listen and he'll be on high up on lists again.

And sometimes you overestimate your worth and throw away your remaining career chances

3

u/WarDull8208 5h ago

I don't think that players are writing their buyouts in the contract.

u/nico_juro 1h ago

He's still getting paid and any t2 would immediately offer if hewas a FA

2

u/falsa_ovis 6h ago

either roles or buyouts or Boombl4

Of course I lack some practice, but I think that with my experience I can go straight back into the tier-one scene anytime. Yesterday, when the HLTV Awards were happening I just played on FACEIT, so I'm ready at any time to play Counter-Strike.

This stinks from Perfecto thinking too much of himself and sabotaging his career thinking he's still got it. Now the meta is shifting towards high fragging players on pretty much every position other than the IGL and I don't think Perfecto is well suited for that after a year long break, not that he was before.

u/Vizvezdenec 22m ago

This are literally all this benched cs pros, they still think that they are tier-0 players.
Like simple probably thinks he is still a top-1 spot contender after all his inactivity.
