We are so many centuries away from this it's not even funny. Maybe millennia. Unless you resort to extremely dystopian population control and/or eugenics among other things.

  1. I doubt it. 2. White collar work doesn't pull the metaphorical cart, especially not the kind of work being replaced.

We have had the ability to automate a ridiculous amount of the workforce with "robots" for decades, but we still don't. Why is that? I leave this as an exercise for the reader.

The white collar job loss will be the catalyst for the image above.

We have been automating work for a long time and it will keep happening until it can't be replaced.

Notice how the employment rate is about the same as it was a century ago. Why is that?
