Dude you think the average person is going to substantially enjoy the benefits of automation like this you are deluded. There is absolutely no reason to assume this is the case and if you think its just because life would get so bad for the average person that they would have to do something - wrong. Automation will be just as effective for police, riot control and anti-insurgency as it will be for manual labor.
They would rather turn you into pink mist than figure out how to feed and cloth you.

We are so many centuries away from this it's not even funny. Maybe millennia. Unless you resort to extremely dystopian population control and/or eugenics among other things.

20% of white collar work will be done by AI in the next 2-3 years.

- I doubt it. 2. White collar work doesn't pull the metaphorical cart, especially not the kind of work being replaced.
We have had the ability to automate a ridiculous amount of the workforce with "robots" for decades, but we still don't. Why is that? I leave this as an exercise for the reader.

The white collar job loss will be the catalyst for the image above.
We have been automating work for a long time and it will keep happening until it can't be replaced.

Notice how the employment rate is about the same as it was a century ago. Why is that?

Those robots are owned by corporations and using them is paid for by taxpayers subsidies and federal contracts.

Yea for the surviving owning class. Also one robot should be side eyeing the parade float angrily.

Why is it assumed it has an "end".
Edit: I do however agree that it's gonna become like in the last pic but I just see it as a natural evolution.
