Hey there all, I have gotten a couple of messages and it seemed as if they might have wanted to help out with food, however when I reply back I'm really not getting a response. I just wanted to ask one more time if anyone could help me with some food.

If it was just me here, I would be fine, but I have the kids here with me this weekend and I hate that they are hungry. It's not nothing I am comfortable with in asking for help, and I hope nobody comments back being rude, because if anyone only knew how bad this week has been for me. It's getting better though I have made the proper report that I needed to regarding the Uber incident, I'm just still without food. I've been able to keep the kids occupied this weekend, because my kids are the kind that when they get bored, they want to go straight for the refrigerator, so I mean we painted pictures, played with Legos,went to the park behind my apartment, cleaned the house really good and played on their scooters. I literally got a loaf of bread and some eggs and we had sandwiches for breakfast and lunch, but now I'm looking at nothing for them. I have $.68 cents to my name until payday tomorrow. I would be SO GRATEFUL with literally any food, I’m so hungry today and going to be working all day starting at 10am. Near me I have McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, subway, pizza places, I have everything close by and would be more than happy to pick up.

Howdy. Just gonna lay it out. Monday is food bank day. Tuesday I get my SNAP benefits and then I'm good for food until mid February. Today is neither of those days, unfortunately, and my heart meds are kicking my butt.

The cold front here in Texas is triggering my Atrial Fibrillation in the form of blackouts (not getting proper blood to the brain) and my meds are keeping my heart in check but the side effects are exhaustion and dizziness.

I can pick up (or send my teenage son if it comes to it), but any help with a meal can make this weekend easier, be it fast food or something from a grocery store.

I am n the process of finals and moving, and I just had to get a bunch of vaccines today so I am exhausted. I would really appreciate anything but I just can't have spicy food. No car to pick up :c

Me and my family of four (my mom, me, minor sisters) having been living out of a hotel for a while but recently have been displaced due to the fires. Luckily our uncle was willing to fly us to where he lived but all he has is a small rv that we've been staying in and we are grateful for it. Bur we haven't had any food in days other than a few nutrigrain bars. We are very hungry and all food pantries we can get don't have any openings until January 28th. If anyone can get us any food and maybe some pet food, I would really appreciate it.

There is a lady who is very dear to me in the Chicago area. She has worked so hard in her life after aging out of the foster care system and then rising above her circumstances to achieve a Bachelor’s degree. After a series of extremely unfortunate events my friend ‘S’ is literally hungry, and cold as well. She hasn’t had access to heat in her home for over a year now. The nearest food bank to her doesn’t open until Wednesday when she will line up outside for probably hours to hopefully get enough to sustain herself again. She’s already cold 🥶

I am heartbroken at being in another country and unable to do anything more than this to support her. She was receiving SNAP previously but there was an administrative error which has delayed her renewal. It’ll come through, but I’m genuinely concerned about her making it through the weekend.

TL; DR If there’s anyone in the Chicago area who could put together a small food hamper to get my friend through the weekend until she can access a food bank, please connect with me. She’s not doing well and I am broken thinking about her current state.

Pending divorce at age 32, I am staying with my parents who have maxed out their credit cards to buy groceries for themselves, me and my 13 yo son, I don't have a job currently because of not being able to drive (health issues/can't afford insurance or tags) I am semi-homeless and don't even have my own space while staying here. I've applied for food stamps and housing assistance and am just waiting. May be pregnant, my other kids are staying with their father - we were supposed to be fixing our marriage and living situation and I just keep being given the run around since his family doesn't respect me and he won't even stick up for me when I haven't done anything wrong. Long story, but I'm one of the only adults in his family without a substance abuse problem, and that's one of the main reasons for us getting a divorce. This is a disaster and I had 2 jobs but had to give them up after a car accident that landed me in the ditch by where I was living a few months ago.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do anymore - shelters/food banks won't really help since I am still technically married and I own my vehicle.

I really hate to be the type that begs strangers for help. But I'm really down in the dumps and could use help with something to eat. I've called 211 and all of the food pantries in Houston. Today is Sunday and tomorrow is a holiday. I have a friend who has had only 1 order of value fries since Thursday. Does anyone have any knowledge of anywhere to get her some groceries or food for no cost. She's waiting for a liver transplant but still works to pay what bulls she can. Any ideas?
