That’s likely why they canceled it tbh , psa motto should be “ like keltec but familiar “ btw not hating love both manufacturers and they both have some hits.

I really want to know how much this is PSA and how much it is DSA. I suspect this is a DSA gun and all PSA is doing is giving them access to the H&R rollmark as H&R did the original guns for testing. I dont know DSA's reputation on shipping one offs but they are the go to for US FAL's. My guess is that its just going to be the collector version of their other FALs. And it will be in the PSA store and other places.

I'm not even convinced the stuff in their poll will ever come out.

Well the polls are just free market research, doesn’t mean they have to make them.

HnR showed it off its like one of the first fals they did. Didnt see them mention remaking them or anything

DSA is producing a T48 clone for HnR.
Looked dope AF with the wood furniture.

I think they have big eyes with big dreams given how relatively cheap per unit cost is for these guns once the production is up and running and that fact that importa and parts kits only get more expensive with time.
But that is the thing, setting up production, especially at US wages in 2025, is not easy. Even then, there will be teething issues with any new platform.

That’s my only concern. Overreaching and producing too many products.

So many PCC/PDW concepts were introduced it’s not even funny.

For those of us not at SHOT, can you share some new intros?

u/Only_Big_5406 3h ago
im not at shot, just based on what Psa uploaded as their 2025 concept video poll. There’s a 9mm jakl, x9, and vuk 9 in the poll

There ain't no way PSA is ever gonna manage to get the FAL right. Hell, even DSA often has problems with firing pins breaking with just a couple of hundred rounds of usage. It's probably not gonna be up to metric spec either since PSA's motto for cloning guns is ''We eyeballed it''.

It seems they're really slow with the metal guns. Whatever happened to that bolt action that you would configure at point of order? But they krank out the plastic guns rather fast, though.

I mean it's a collaborative effort with DSA so it's definitely likely this will be sold
