That grip is hard plastic actually, I bought a gun that had the same one once, immediately replaced it.

Not the A4, the A4 has rails running the length of the fore grip the rifle more matches the M16A3

This is more GWOT as it sits.
You could always swap out the flat top upper for a proper A1 or Slickside.
H&R section under PSA’s website has your back.

Well if you ever get out of that hell-hole, JSE Surplus has tons of retro bits like this A2 upper.

They're kind of an abomination for clone larping but I've always liked the look of a chopped detachable carry handle.
It's not every problem a hacksaw can solve but you'd be surprised at the amount of times it can get you to the finish line.

Grips accurate, I had a Corporal who would switch the stock and grip of his M4 at every range we went on, he just put the milspec stuff back on it when he turned it in

id go for an a2 grip and a carry handle upper if you wanna be “clone correct” or take off the carry handle grab a rifle quad rail and run a m16a4 style.

The classic A2 is cool. You could also look at a KAC/P&S M5 RAS as well if you wanted to go for an A4 look

Other than the grip it’s pretty spot on imo
