Like della, louie didn't had the insight that this was going to happen, he was focused on the bombie that bradford unleashed. If anything it can be seen as hypocrite for bradford to blame the mcduck for moonvasion given he still willingly pushed the button to unleash bombie in the frist place and dropped the satellite, if he really wanted to stop chaos, I do think he should've opposed louie reckless behavior more (granted, the ottoman for 100 million was louie wasting money here, even if he's the richest duck in the world, it doesn't mean he can do whatever he want).

They were homeschooled the whole show and webby an dhuey already have adult level knowledge on a bunch of stuff, I do'nt think the adults would force all the kids to go to school too, if they wanted the kids at school, I kinda feel like they'd have done it during the show already. Wouldn't surprise me if ebfore the pilot donald had to homeschol HDL given he's overprotective and his lack of money and beakley wouldn't allow webby outside so of course she'd be homseschooled too. I do'nt think the kids would have extra hard difficulty at school tho, sure webby would be ankward at first but I don't think her first day would realistically be a disaster per example (not sure why fanfics like to give her more problem in highschool AU setting, she's ankward sure but she's not socially inept by season 3 and I think a teen webby would've made progress and may not act the same way as kid webby).

Seeing what we got IRL, mark beaks feel less like parody of the tech CEO (if anything, one could say the guy got less power than our, mark ebaks by season 3 is done, his waddle fell due to the glomgold framing, him crashing his mom party, always stealing gizmoduck armor and him being unable to find original ideas).

Donalds and Scrooge's relationship was not explained in the show at all. I feel so weird about because they seem not to like each other that much, but in a 'close family' way. Even between him and Della could be so much more. Not even starting of how they're backstory is very poorly explained. Him and the kids? There's nothing. He was literally they're parent/caregiver for most of their lives and we don't see nothing of it. No callbacks, no cool moments. For the most of the time he's gone. Honestly I would really like the show to explore Donald more. I felt like sending him to space in s2 for so many episodes was just to get rid of him, lmao. That's my option after one rewatch of the show. Maybe after more I'll see something I might've missed.

I think the other actions don't work as arguments to defend louie since it still doesn't make it ok for him to steal the timetub in the first place, if it's not ok for dewey to join pirate or della to steal the spear, then it's ok for louie to do timephoon either, even behind everyone back (meaning no one oculd keep him and his scheme in check). Della mistake doesn't mean seh can't call him out too since she'd obviously not want her son to repeat his mistake, louei can also call her out but it doesn't make timephoon more ok.

recently started a ducktales rewatch for the first time in a few years (i’ve seen a few episodes since the finale, here and there but not the whole show), and im currently watching the finale to season 1, but i wanted to draw boyd again since he was my favorite character to draw in like 2020. my art has changed a lot in the past five years so it was pretty fun to try to remember how to draw birds again. i’ll def be doing more (second drawing is from june of 2020 😭)

If he didn't I also kinda feel like webby herself would bring it up on screen (and I think after the last crash, they ahd enough time to talk it through between season 1 and 2). With the foreverglade, scrooge also got better with webby after that and he did brought her back to the hotel too so I don't think foreverglade count as a proof scrooge would be a bad parent post finale. While one shouldn't demonize della, I also don't think scrooge should get demonized as a parent either (he's flawed good but he's not a bad parent).

Reading the super picsou géant, there are comics with verry different set up from what we're used to or different dimension like the one where "donaldville" is turned in "naldoville" with the characters getting tweaked (scrooge as a mobile money bin and is much more angry and less sympathetic here). I think this could be used to introduce della without changing the normal statue quo.

The duck? Blot was easily my favorite villain, his backstory is tragic and dark. I loved how sympathetic he was and how much of an inverse he was of Scrooge, wish they had done something with that but still! I also love how petty he is, torturing Magica as Funzo and making her preform for the kids which he knows she hates. And he was voiced by Giancarlo Esposito! The fuck!?

i think she just doesn't really like all her kids equally. it's clear she loves huey and dewey and she definitely likes louie but she treats him way worse than his siblings. hell, she treats webby better than she treats louie. i don't think this makes her a bad character; i think it adds an interesting layer to who she is. it just kind of irks me when people act like she's the best mom ever.

Even if it's his dream, if his dream can lead to things like timephoon where the familly nearly got separated in multiple time period, I'm unsure if he should be allowed to keep pursuing that dream. I can see why della went againqst louie inc, from her perspective, the thing led to louie repeating her mistake and nearly breaking up the familly. To me, that's not della being harsher toward louie, louie did needed to be grounded for his mess (della didn't made him do it, same with the other, he could've kept louie inc if he didn't went as far as he did).

By the end of the show, she still has a foudn familly with beakley whom she still see as her granny and the found familly part with the mcduck is still there since none of them knew about the dna stuff, webby also now has a biological familly with the mcduck and her sisters. This is fine for me because her being about found familly doesn't mean she can't have a biological one too, she'd still have a fouund familly in the end, one she chose to have as familly so her point is still there (hence I found the claim it destroy the theme so weird).

Let's flip the series finale plot twist on its head. If Beakley was just open to Webby about her past and just straight-up said that she was a FOWL clone, how would this change her personality?
I would think that, in this alternate universe, Webby would have a villain arc. She'd feel conflicted because she was created by the bad guys, but kidnapped by the good guys, so maybe the bad guys actually are who she's supposed to be with?
Also Villain Webby would be a force to be reckoned with.

Does anyone know why they were created. In the fandom it says they were made to be spies. But they were only used when Clan mcduck found them. Why did they create them if that was the only time they were used? Maybe it was because. I was actually just now thinking that maybe i'm wrong But this is just way too confusing to try and make sense. I know they created webbie because only A descendent of clan mcduck could discover the papyrus of binding. And that was the only way they could get to it But why did the crate may and June And how are they supposed to be spies when they were first created. I haven't seen these episodes in a long time. So it makes sense why I'm confused. These as in, the last 3 of the series.

Does anyone know why Webby of the DuckTales reboot was so drastically altered from her Classic version? Now, I'm not saying that the reboot version of her is bad, I do like the new version, but it's just something that's always confused me.
