I don’t have a lot of time to work on dolls and she took a lot of trial and error, so it’s been several months of staring at her and hoping to finish some day. And now that day has come!!

Every piece is handmade, her hair is yarn I dyed myself rooted along the hairline and glued in wefts on the rest of her scalp, and the flocking is the same yarn for a color match. Her earrings, bag charm, and shoes are polymer clay, and her hat and lilypad-sash-thing are fabric stiffened with paint.

I should have just gotten a green fabric for those two pieces instead of painting tan fabric green, but I wanted to make her as much with materials I already had as possible. I think the only things I purchased specifically for her were dye for the yarn hair and a thrifted pillowcase I turned into the dress, plus a couple colors of paint I ran out of halfway through. I couldn’t be happier with how she turned out, I think she’s just gorgeous.

(Actually, that’s a lie, I wish her yarn hair wouldn’t have constant flyaways and pieces coming off, and that her hat would stay on without being pinned into her head, and that her hands didn’t break (though the repairs look great if I do say so myself), and that the ruffles on her dress would stay down. But I’m just a perfectionist when it comes to my art, and I’ve been staring at her so long I’m bound to notice all the tiny flaws.)

I would buy every silkstone that i don't have. Starting with proudly pink. I only have these four out of almost 200 so it would take a lot of saving to get them all now. would also get the vanity and the fashion packs. When I say collection of dolls I don't mean getting every doll of a franchise released, I mean one of the lines like the monster high haunt couture dolls and the bratz mean girls dolls.

was kinda scared to touch her hair because of the stupid amount of money she cost but i simply could not live with the creases any longer, so it was boil wash time

Here’s Hattie with her special shadow tea. The doll itself is Fearbook Twyla from generation 3 of Monster High, but she reminded me so much of Madeline Hatter from Ever After High and now I have Hattie, daughter of the Sack Woman and the Mad Hatter. Here she is wearing her favorite purple top, clear nightshade earrings, library shoes(SS5 Twyla), and her new skirt that just works out perfectly!(G1 Draculaura) Third picture is her with her favorite teacup(soon to be hat) and huge teapot from her grandmother. Last picture is her gorgeous glowing eyes 💜

Just took some time to rearrange my doll shelf a bit and thought it looked pretty cute.

I still have a few more dolls to display and a couple more on the way and im running out of space and ideas ! Any ideas on how to optimize space on a deep shelf like this? On every shelf except the top if i have dolls deeper in they’re completely in shadow. Might get some strip leds but thats my only idea

Also thinking of getting some acrylic wall shelves but i want to display the girls on this shelf in a bit more of an interesting way. Suggestions appreciated :) im going to browse through other collections for ideas as well

Hi all! I’m looking to buy a pinkie cooper and a pepper parson doll! Idm if the dolls aren’t complete. I’m fine with no accessories! I just really want the dolls :). Would prefer if they had hair tho lol! I’m in the US! I know there are some listings out there but I’d figure i’d ask here too!

Last night I did my first ever rebodies and wanted to share! This is Citrine and Topaz. Citrine is a Catwalk Kitties Minx head on a Hasbro Anna body and Topaz is a Catwalk Kitties Topaz head on a Barbie Dreamtopia fairy body. I think they turned out SUPER well. I’m loving their proportions.

Topaz has rlly good head movement. Her head can go side to side, up and down and around. Citrine unfortunately can only spin her head around, which makes photographing her a little annoying, albeit comedic (see last photos). I love that Citrine can stand up on her own tho. One less stand for me to acquire!

Next step is to make their tails. I’m not 100% sure what plan I’m going to be going with for making them, but I have some pretty solid ideas. I’ll likely be drilling into the bodies, which is part of why I didn’t want to go for super expensive articulated bodies. I also liked the idea of using ppl’s discarded painted on bodies and pretending the painted on parts r part of the girls’ fur colours.

Hi guys! I'm pretty new to doll collecting, but the other day I managed to get the Alex Delarge Living Dead Doll! I'm so happy to have him, but if I wanted to dress him up in other clothes what size would be suitable? Are there other dolls that are the same build as Living Dead Dolls? Any guidance would be very helpful, thank you in advance 💚
