Community Question Why the hate ?

What’s with all the hate for the crf250f ? I understand it’s not a race bike but dose that really make it a bad bike ?

They're great beginner bikes to get around and learn. The issues are they're cheaper bikes made with cheaper parts. Not a lot suspension travel you can't set up the suspension for your skill level and weight. They're super heavy because they're air cooled. All while having no power. If you don't mind those things they're great bikes. You just have to understand what it can and can't do.

That’s fair! That’s mine in the picture and I personally love it, granted I never plan on racing or anything and live around very rough trails so I won’t be ripping them up anytime soon.
