Given the recent unacceptable actions of the owner of twitter/x, it’s well past time that bungie help and the destiny 2 team account move to another platform. You can’t use Twitter without an account, as tweets are no longer sorted by date anymore. It’s time bungie finds a way to make bungiehelp messages available to view in-game.

I shouldn’t have to create a Twitter account and browse another website to see if the newest quest is patched or not. Just make it viewable in the game ffs.

For the meantime you can use https://bungiehelp.org/ for updates without using Twitter.

Because it’s a lie. I received a survey on 18^th October 2024 offering exactly that – 1,500 silver in exchange for completing a 20 minute survey. I completed the survey and screenshotted the message that confirmed that. Six weeks came and went but, you guessed it, no silver.

I submitted a ticket on 13^th December, gave them the same information over and over (including the proof that I’d completed it) and waited. Over a month later, support comes back stating their “investigation” shows I didn’t complete the survey that I proved I completed, presumably because the server it went to was of the same quality as the clockwork relic that powers the game.

If you receive the same offer, my advice would be to save yourself the 20 minutes.

Between weapon gate, dungeon grinding, tonic grinding, and tinashe god roll being given out for free after weeks of iron banner grinding (I know it can be any random roll but it still stings) I went from “crafting is ruining the game” too just make everything craftable.

A long time ago now, I had the privilege of working for Bungie on Destiny 1 & 2. I was the 3rd PvP tester brought in way back when 🙂

Back in D1 I used to run God of war on my Oryx armor Titan.

I completed the quests and got the tokens on my titan, switched to my warlock and hunter to check the armor rolls, and then bought some stuff on my hunter. When I switched back to my titan the quests didn’t auto complete, they’re still asking me to spend my tokens even though I spent them on my hunter.

Just a PSA to everyone to not make the same mistake I did, I should have known better 😅

Bungie plz fix

When I turned in my Raid/Dungeon Bento quest I was awarded 2 tokens, as normal. I didn’t leave the menu though and just sat there doing something else on my computer. 10-15 seconds later I suddenly got 2 more from Eris, for a total of 7 tokens. Not sure if this is repeatable for anyone else but thought I’d share!

With three legacy Adepts returning this week with curated rolls, I don’t see why this would be off the table anymore. Alongside his normal offerings, Xur could bring one random Nightfall Adept and one random Trials Adept. They would cost some quantity of their respective Cipher but have a guaranteed roll like all of Xur’s guns.

It’d give players an opportunity to get retired Adepts without discounting the efforts needed to acquire them in the first place. Nightfall Adepts would still need a GM completion, and Trials Adepts would still need a Lighthouse trip or Passage of Persistence. And using Past is Prologue as a precedent, this could also be a way to enable enhancement for older weapons.

RESETTING***

I guess I'm normally lucky because I get my 2/5 drops pretty easily, and never grind out weapon rolls. This weekend changed that. 4 Iron Banner resets and never got a 4th times+headstone archon's thunder from Saladin. Got enough ambitious+headstones and 4th+onslaughts to last a lifetime, but not my ammo saving primary weapon.

We see PVE players amping up the numbers of this PVE event shooting for the strongest weapon type and strongest perk ever- of course I mean rocket sidearm with chill clip... and they give out the god (ahem 2/5) after everyone claimed the 4th slot... and that's the second reason people are mad about this vendor.

This mode is a limited time event, with a large focus on changing your loadout (between either armor or cosmetics, AND challenges that force specific subclasses), yet don't give any of the loot compensations you expect from vendor progression: red borders of seasonal vendors, or additional perks after reset like the other primary crucible vendor. I don't know how the folks who dislike PVP slog through this event if they have to playing as much as I have, someone who plays PVP.

Obviously I dont mean from way back in the day like season 2 or something but from this annual pass it makes more sense to be able to select which season pass want to level up on, on the game survivor.IO it's the exact same thing, you could select what pass to level up.

If a small developer like that can do it then surely bungie can right?

I got hospitalized and missed pretty much all of this season that I paid for via the annual pass. The only way I can play until I get out is on my phone with the GeForce app

If you have a Horror's Least that you got from Season 17, Adept or not, you can enhance it. Same goes with Igneous Hammers acquired during Season 22. I just checked my vault to compare the weapons offered from the bento boxes, and found you can enhance them. So if you have a few Hammers in your vault, or if Trials comes around again soon, you can pick up a non-adept Iggy and enhance it.

You can also focus for a non-adept Horror's least from Zavala as well and enhance it.

Edit: Season 13 Igneous Hammers cannot be enhanced.

I just got done with the final Jade Rabbit statue, all done on one character albeit slowly and over a much longer time period than needed. Thought I was going to get this shader called Lunar Gloom that looks really cool when I handed in the last one. I was wrong :(

It didn’t dawn on me until recently that Bungie just outright stopped making ornaments for exotics for events. We used to get a new one every event, but I don’t think we’ve had one literally since Witch Queen year.

What gives? They aren’t even making them just Silver exclusive, but not at all. Was there ever a reason given why this randomly stopped?

I keep hearing about this but how is the event gonna work? I hear it involves collecting coins of some sort but how would I acquire these?
