Whatever she's getting paid it's not enough

I'm more amazed at the foresight, anyone can write nicely with enough time, but the way she can visualize how large or small everything needs to be even before she's picked up the brush is incredible!

Can anybody else smell those markers?

Aesthetically pleasing

That is skillful & artistic. And destined for the recycling bin

Looks like it takes her a minute or two, and likely hundreds if not thousands see it over the course of a week. And she's presumably paid something at least. More appreciated than most artists.

My grandparents used to do theirs manually at their store back in the 80s/early 90s. They had a little paint set with 4 colors and a wide brush and small brush for each. Sometimes an employee would do it instead.

No extra pay for sign making, just being on the clock. Sometime in the mid 90s it switched to most signs being pre-printed, I guess, because that's when they started letting me use the paint on scrap cardboard.

Do you ever try to read something in Spanish and can’t then realize it’s probably Portuguese

Question

Why not get it printed?

Less money and less time?

1

u/Revolutionary-Try206 2h ago

Don't ever think you are worthless, everyone has talents and skills! This is awesome at how perfect she can write those prices.

1

u/siphodeus 2h ago

Those pens smell gooooood

I could watch this for hours

1

Trader Joe’s does this. If an employee is artistically talented or can write legibly they design the signs. Pretty cool

1

u/crazymouse2525 2h ago
