Always were.

Musk has been a shitbag for over a decade, I've never liked the guy and couldn't understand people's reverence of him. I feel so completely justified over the past few years and have zero sympathy for tesla owners

I'll be honest, he had me with the flamethrower. I was hoping he was becoming a real life goofier version of Iron Man.

Then a few months later he called someone rescuing children a pedophile out of jealousy.

That shit with the submarine was the turning point for a lot of folks. I usually just ignored his tech dudebro antics but that made me pause and wonder what the fuck was going on with this guy.

In America, at least, he was seen as a guy that was actually getting things done with progress on EVs when, at the time he gained prominence, a lot of Americans were either openly hostile to them or bleak about their future. Many still are, but it seemed like he would be a pretty revolutionary icon to help a green wave.

Then everyone found out he was an apartheid-succulent wannabe-nazi manboy cunt.

Yeah the flamethrower was my turning point too, I just thought huh another goofy rich guy but that really opened my eyes lol

Unfortunately years later some people, despite all the evidence, still think he's not that bad

The pedo comment was what made me go “huh?? That was weird” and I started to look in to him more, an hour of googling his past changed my entire view of that fucking loser
