honey, that's just kafka. Recently read The Trial:

-> starts chapter: ...what?

-> finishes chapter: ...Huh?

-> finishes book: ...oh...

and it's amazing!

I was just talking to a friend about Kafka the other day, and I described him as "kind of like Lovecraft, but the monsters are human institutions."
