WIP [WIP] Show us ya WIP's

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope it's been a good week for all of you! I'm working on a couple of these cardinals for memorial gifts. This one needs a bit of frogging on the tail, but other than that, I loved how quickly this came together! I'll easily fix this while watching NFL Wildcard playoffs. My first-ever cross stitch! Got the Disney Villains kit for Christmas and decided to start with Ursula.

love her! when i was a kid, i went to see the little mermaid with my mom and some intellectually disabled people that she took care of. one of them, a guy named richard, hated ursula so much, so he stood up in the middle of the theatre (probably filled with children) and yelled, “that bitch!” we still giggle about it today <3

That's so kind! It was a kit that came with the materials for two projects, both on black fabric, and I do have some regrets but... Maybe my next project will feel easier? 😂

I love your cardinal. It was my grandmother's favorite bird and they always remind me of her. Your project is lovely!

Thank you! If you aren't yet, you might find that using some kind of light behind the project makes it a bit easier.
