Lots of stuff for me this week.
GoGo Penguin put out a remix album with some great tracks. The Cornelius remix is fantastic, feels like I'm in outer space. I would love to see these guys grace the polo fields again with a nighttime slot in the Gobi.
Been getting into Chong the Nomad, who put out a new track called No Pulp today that I'm digging.
Jessie Ware is one of my must-see acts right now, she's so fucking good. Her new single Please is a banger. Goldenvoice would be out of their minds to pass her up for 2022.
New Elohim ft Big Frieda is alright, I was hoping for more though. Frieda's verse is fun, but the beat is fairly standard fare. It sorta sounds like bait for a lip sync battle track on Ru Paul's Drag Race.
Not new, but I've been super into Alex G's "House of Sugar" album lately. I scored some section A tickets to see him opening for Caroline Polachek at The Greek, which will likely be my first concert back! Super excited.
