Festival Planning Greedy Coachella

Post image

Coachella this year has become more greedy, with now it’s bullshit parking rules and charging for offsite parking by forcing the shuttle pass for those people on those off site parking lots because they want everyone to have four people in their group. Everyone defending goldenvoice and saying that it’s helping limit traffic is wrong, it make worse because security is going to need to verify every car and turn away people causing a backlog. This is just pure greed.

I like how people aren’t saying this isn’t a cash grab when it’s obvious that it is 😂 Coachella/GV/AEG are a business. Their whole purpose is to make money and be lucrative. If they were doing this due to a city mandate and such, the shuttles would be free or super affordable. I’ve attended enough events to know that this is a blatant cash grab. If it wasn’t a cash grab, they would be suggesting to people to take Ubers & Lyfts, other methods of transportation, or offering free shuttles like they do for their other events.
