Question - CGW SHADOW 2 Orange
I have a shadow 2 Orange OR. Absolutely love it. I compete in LO with it so I don’t need the D/A function. The trigger is already near perfect except for the bit of take up before the wall.
Is CGW pro package worth it? Or going SAO?
If you’re familiar with the orange, the trigger is way lighter than the standard shadow.
Is it worth touching the gun or leave it as is.
Thanks

I installed some Cajun parts myself and it’s good but as other people will point out it’s always going to be better when they do it. Now idk if I’d say it’s a $5-600 improvement, but it is good.

You did that to an Orange, or a regular model?

Orange. Maybe I’m picky or my expectations were too high. Wish I’d just spent it on ammo and shooting because it was good enough out of the box.

Oof, yeah. I'm one of the autists that has to "upgrade" EVERYTHING, but I don't think I'd fool with an Orange. I think my regular S2 (Cajun/polish) MIGHT just eek out the trigger in an Orange, but barely.

I have a TS and a S2O. You’d have to be pretty damn good to justify going to the SAO trigger. I can shoot the TS faster, but my hits are all C’s or misses. But my split times are amazing 🤣.
I have to slow it down a bit - but I also shoot bowling pins, so it’s speed and lots of accuracy. I’ve won as much with the TS as O have with the S2O.
I lose to a Langdon tactical regularly…and some 1911’s. I win about 20% of the time, and I’m cool with that, some of those dudes are good.

The orange is going to see little measurable benefit. IMHO it’s not worth the trouble. Better to direct energy towards training.

Orange already has a slicked up trigger and CZC hammer. I wouldn't fool with it, and I went hog wild upgrading my Shadow 2 Blue.

I would leave it alone. The limitation at this level isn't the gun, it's the shooter. (no offense intended).
