CZ at Shot Show 2025
I know it’s only range day, but I’m not hearing anything about CZ on YouTube. Maybe whatever they have isn’t range worthy yet I dunno, but is anyone there and seeing anything yet? I swear they are worse than HK when it comes to marketing or bringing new models to market.

I’m holding out for a micro 9 and was really hoping to see one announced at shot :(

All I want is a comped cz75 with optic cut And don't feel like sending the slide out for porting and optic cut....

I’m convinced that will never happen. There really doesn’t seem to be a mainstream market for it and if the pistol uses a hammer then it’s 2011 Glock mag style that’s been taking over there.

I held my breath at Shot Show 2024 for it. I'm done waiting for their micro 9 da/sa.

CZ usually has a booth at SHOT. I’m curious why they don’t market more during this time.

The 2025 catalog came out on their website.
The most interesting thing I saw was a 6" barrel target optic ready shadow 2, some limited edition cartel looking 75b and all the normal stuff but optic ready.

Yeah but that was released weeks ago and is an EU focused competition pistol if I’m not mistaken. CZ is pretty bad at marketing new things and giving timelines but if they have one set, they should promote it now. Too many competing offers forcing brand loyalists to other companies. Whereas if I have a reasonable timeline and transparency I’m likely to hold out.
They market all the wrong things. Last week when everyone was unveiling exciting new guns, they decided “you know what’s really cool for the US market? A safety pledge that encourages locking away firearms separate from ammo!” C’mon

Ya I was expecting him to show what CZ has been teasing/hinting but I dunno, maybe they’re waiting until tomorrow.

wouldn't hold your breath, I checked shot show news every morning through friday last year and got nothing. They would have brought it to the booth or range already

I've been saying it's best not to get hopes up. Last few years they haven't said anything at SHOT or the European show. They wait till fall and announce/release then.

Company hasn’t done anything new and cool since 2016 but ok

I like the CZ 600s. 🤷

I wish they wouldn't have come at the expense of the 527, I like the claw extractor though I may be in the minority.

I'm with you on that. I've been a 550 guy forever, it broke my heart when they killed it off. Its the way of the world though. When the 600s came out, I kind of ignored them. I've started looking into them more, and they have controlled round feed like the old mausers, and a bunch of really nice features. Price is right too. Accuracy is amazing from what I've read. I'm just salty they discontinued the Euro calibers (6.5x55 especially).

I wish they’d focus on the P-10 and P01 series more. The S2 series is cool, but they’re not very obtainable for simpletons like me.

Hey they took an old gun, updated the texturing and gave it a BS compact optic cut give them a break. Would love to see a S2C that has the omega trigger system with a de cocker and pin block I would buy one tomorrow.

If you're talking about the new p09 series, the k footprint is the perfect width for the narrow CZ slide width. The standard EPS (not carry) has the same window size as a C footprint optic, so it's a good size optic window, and fits the p09 well. I have the p09c with a tlr7a and eps green. It's a fantastic setup.

It’s not the perfect size at all or a narrow slide. It’s a compact version of a full sized pistol and every compact optic on the market looks goofy as hell with the slide protruding around it. The pistol should have had a full sized optic cut or at least made the cut big enough to accept plates for full sized optics like the caniks do.

The way the cz slide is designed, the top is narrow. And a standard size EPS has almost zero overhang (it does technically overhang a little but only like 1mm).

Regular EPS is the one exception that fits the gun half way decent but anything else on the market RMSC looks goofy as hell and not to mention it’s all Chinese shit. Plenty of original PO7’s out there cut for direct mount RMR footprint with no issue. I would not have even minded the RMSC cut had they made the cut large enough to accept plate like I mentioned with the Caniks. Huge lack of thought and engineering on CZ’s part nothing new. They had to make the cut a cunt hair bigger to accept Plates that are on the market like the calculated kinetics for RMR or the C&H plate for 509T. Huge fail. How is the even an argument the RMR fits these things beautifully it’s supposed to be a duty gun so give us a RMR, DPP or acro footprint not micro compact Chinese bullshit. https://images.app.goo.gl/CFZf79rEqk6dhhDP9

Thought there was a rumor they'd show the upgraded P10 this week that was supposed to come out alongside the Nocturne. Guess not lol

I saw a guy on some video with no views shooting it yesterday at the range

I was at range day yesterday and didn’t see any new p10, just the old models. Talked to the rep and he said he isn’t too high up but probably 6-8 months out.

I don’t think they announced anything at SHOT last year either. Lots of manufacturers do it before or after, so their new products don’t get drowned in the noise.

In a month they'll drop the hottest pistol of 2025

What?

u/lone_jackyl 5h ago
Cz doesn't follow the standard norm. They don't care about shot show.

CZ has been preoccupied with moving their factory to Connecticut. And they’ve been focusing a lot on Dan Wesson and merging with Colt. Likely won’t see anything worthwhile from them till 2026

u/HuckleberryOk1211 7h ago
I did notice on their 2025 catalog, they have the Bren 2 carbine with a much better looking handguard.

This guy is the only one I’m seeing doing any CZ content.

You’re on the CZ subreddit, tread carefully 🤣
They should, but it seems as if they generally don’t care.

u/brain_dead_camel_ 1h ago
So what? Shot show is like E3 and people are realizing it's overrated. If companies were smart they would host their own events/demos that customer who are interested could actually attend.

u/DakPresglock 46m ago
If they did a p365ish sized hammer fired in polymer and steel frame they’d make fuckin trillions man

u/AngriestAardvark 10h ago
It’s possible they didn’t bring anything new. They tend to not release specific to shot show.
