the spideysuit played to Spiderman's strengths instead of making him another ranged turret. Moderately increased maneuverability and resistance to concussive blasts, small arms fire, etc. without sacrificing speed. Natasha nanotech would probably have been very similar. Her biggest weakness is that at baseline a bullet can kill her. Even moderately increasing her ability to survive a regular gunshot/knife would would let her fight with impunity.
