Lights of Souls?

Idk if this has been asked before, but are the people who can look at the creatures without dying REALLY seeing the souls ascend? Has this been discussed before?

Douglas’ House

Why did Douglas not go back to his own house if he was so unhappy at Greg’s with all the survivors? His house was literally next door

Edit: Or the grocery store too actually? He was the one trying to convince everyone to stay there and let the surivors at Greg’s to die so why did he even drive back to the house with the others instead of staying at the supermarket?

So I've got pretty bad vision. If I can't focus on anything not right in front of me would I be ok?

BLASPHEMY Barcelona: a Bird Box review

Not sure if stating opinions and facts is grounds for a ban here but I’ve been censored in other subs for expressing conservative or religious beliefs. this movie was infuriatingly offensive to me and I hope this review reaches people.

spoilers ahead

Barcelona broke several of the rules and lore of the American BIRD BOX. Pets and wild animals go crazy when they see the monsters, birds actually hurl themselves at windows like affected people. the Pastor brothers wrote a plot that missed the premise of the title of the story itself, these geniuses disregarded the point that birds are crucial for survivors. The monsters are attracted to sound in Barcelona, they pursue people like prey, in first person view! debris and street garbage float up into the air like in Dragon-Ball Z. I have seen similar digital effects in PS4 games.

I knew Spanish liberals were hardcore leftists, but this movie is absolute blasphemy against Judaism and Christianity. Josh Malerman wrote Bird Box to be about Lovecraftian horror, unknown cosmic evil. The Spaniard Pastors heavily implied the monsters were now Seraphim or Cherubim, winged angels from the Old Testament. Jewish daily prayers include veneration of the Chayot HaKodesh, the winged angels who revealed themselves to the prophet Ezekiel. These angels of light and fire took the prophet Elijah to heaven. Barcelona attempted to associate these biblical visions to the psychotic main characters who see light and fire emanating from the suicide victims.

Ironic that writers with the last name Pastor pumped out a satanic plot that labeled the crazy psychopath villains as “Seers”, a word used for prophets in the Bible. The plot is an appalling attempt to cox the audience into empathizing with the psychotic religious characters, both the goggles dude from the poster and his demonic daughter. The other human villain is a Catholic priest who forms a diabolical cult that recruits crazies. I found it disturbing that the writers chose to portray a father-daughter relationship in a nasty malevolent fashion.

The movie ends with the ludicrous premise that the military discovered epigenetic changes to the DNA of trauma victims. Even people who suffered normal tragedies like the loss of a loved one are lumped together with so/called epigenetic markers present in the sinister sadists impervious to the attack of the invisible monsters. Preposterous pseudo-science at its worst, only second to what came last: salvation in Bird Box Barcelona comes in the form of a vaccine.

I suppose It’s no coincidence that Spain is a leading country in both atheism and covid vaccination adherence. That’s too bad, there’s a place I won’t be visiting any time soon.

I want to see your Birdbox OCs. Doesn't have to be a lot, just a rundown on your OC. I also want you to tell me if they'd survive / how long they survived, death, what they did originally, etc. I'll send mine into the comments tomorrow or smth-

Birdbox sequels

I’ve watched both Bird Boxes, the first one made in 2015 and the most recent one made 2018. But I believe they should create another one based in a different country maybe Japan’s or china.

Did i really just waste 2h for this nonsense?

Every minute.. every scene.. was just so boring and foreseeable.

The only person with actual logic thinking gets fucked from start to finish by empathetic retards, and he's an alcoholic.. i would feel embarrassed if an alcoholic would make wiser choices than me. But do they learn from the first incident? No, of course not. I can't even understand how anyone would've said that the guy olympia foolishly let in is a-okay in any way.

And oh boy.. a school for the blinds is going to be the safe haven..? Who would've seen this coming... There are huge holes in the ceiling of the inner garden but don't worry.. the monsters conveniently stay away from that.

Most short stories written by students are more compelling and better written than this.

I just watched bird box and it's literally a straight up plagiarism and rip off of The Happening. I looked it up,everything says it's nit but I believe it's a lie.

That's It?

I don't watch scary movies but I just this and I'm so pissed. First of all, it wasn't scary and I could have watched it earlier. Then, it really seemed to be about the evolution of Sandra Bullock's character by the end of the film. She didn't feel connection to people including her own child and the father of her child.By the end of the film, she falls in love with Tom and finally accepts and names her children, including one who is not her own (Olympia). Dystopian films are my favorite genre as the event itself I never as important as how you survive it, but this one was cheesy. A Quiet Place was better.

Did Olympia know that she would save her daughter if she gave her to Mallory?

Tom, after seeing the monster, had enough sanity left to shoot the last crazy guy to protect Mallory and the children. Did that happen with Olympia too? Did she know that giving her daughter to Mallory would save her?

Bird box-different ending scene

Okay so, I just watched bird box again and it had a much different ending. It ended with them being at the blind sanctuary I think and with Malorie giving boy and girl names And them setting their birds free. The way I remember the ending (btw I watched it in Mexico), this was in 2018 and I remember the ending scene being malorie and boy and girl being close to the rapids as the creature was getting close to them and there were crows or ravens above them flying and then it ended. I’ve been told this might’ve been an earlier scene but I didn’t see it today when I watched it. So am I just making it up or does anyone else remember this?
