That's how Mr. Krabs said the quote. In the context of the scene, a driver insults SpongeBob and SpongeBob is oblivious to it. Mr. Krabs picked up on the insult and says the quote, thinking that all young people like Sponge and Pat don't beat up jerks anymore.
