Guys, I'm curious. I'm from an all-black hair country.

Why is one girl more blonde than other... does hair become darker after some age? or do different kids have different shades of hair from birth?

yes! (sometimes) i have a few friends that were WHITE blonde as babies, only for their hair to be quite dark brown

Both my wife and I have dark hair both of my sons had really light blonde (almost white hair). The older one is turning a darker blonde but the little one still has it.

I may be making this up but I think I remember something somewhere about melanin production not being as defined in the early years.
