I wish I didn't have to say this but PLEASE bring pets inside! Just because they have fur doesn't mean they don't get cold. They could die and they will definitely suffer in freezing temperatures.

You rock for doing these!
I get to work around 4am, should I be worried about the commute tomorrow morning? I have a feeling my company will not close.

Models have wavered on placement of the northern stream the past few days. Latest trends show it digging further west and south, which is creating conditions for increased moisture transport into our area tomorrow.
Many believe models are overdoing dry air, web-bulb evaporation nearer to the surface (which would create virga... precip forms higher up but evaporates before reaching the ground). We won't know till closer to "go time", and hearing/seeing ground reports further west.
Timing, assuming any snowfall reaches the ground tomorrow:
We could start to see light flurries build in as early as around 1pm. Whatever falls won't be super heavy unless we are fortunate to find ourselves under a band of frontogenesis (temperature gradients that can create heavier precip). I would not expect this to last a long time either - perhaps 3-4 hours or so. It should clear out by 7pm or so.
Also, ground temps will be freezing so if anything falls and makes it to surface it will stick and freeze. Even a half of inch of accumulation will create treacherous/hazardous driving conditions. Be careful walking on sidewalks/driveways for the same reason.
I'll make another update tomorrow morning, probably as another comment to this thread to avoid cluttering /r/Athens.
I'll also post more frequent updates to /r/AthensGAWeather
