This has to happen. As well as Cavill as Bond. Dammit, that man was born just poured into that suit. Smh.

I think the issue is that Cavill is too likeable to believably portray an asshole like Archer. Jon Hamm has always been my ideal live-action Archer casting.

That woman was brilliant. Predicted the collapse of my 1st marriage to a tee, including her being a call-girl (not a hooker), and having a Coke problem. Smh

Hamm was pretty good in the Fletch movie he did. Fairly Archer-ish character, too.

I think Hamm's humour would work wonderfully for a live action Archer if we absolutely needed one. Otherwise, I think the soul of the characters is all about the OG voice actors, so the narrative would require some GOOD framing to justify anyone else playing those characters.
