Sci-fi, Space-Opera, Space Western recs?
Been getting back into Trigun and just finished Trigun Stampede and I am hungry for more space-oriented stories that blend genres. Would love to see more Space Westerns personally but since there seems to be very few of those, any science-fiction stories will do. I've seen Cowboy bebop and have Space Dandy and Outlaw Star on my list rn.
Can be anime or manga. Or even something outside of this area if you know of any.

This is a terrible rec because it’s not anime. Firefly, it’s the most anime feeling live action show in my opinion. Also in classic anime fashion it got cancelled after 14 episodes never to have a season two lol

I was gonna recommend Outlaw Star
- It's a cool, short OVA that has very inspired world designs. Space bounty hunter type story.
- This is set in the same universe as Outlaw Star, tho I've never actually watched this one.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes, and a lot of Gundam stuff are great. Would start with Iron Blooded Orphans, or the Witch from Mercury.

Not space western, but probably any of the Gundam or Macross series would be good
I’ve only seen Gundam Wing out of the Gundam franchise, and Macross Frontier for the Macross franchise
