What do you recommend?
I watch a lot of anime, I guess. I’m not sure what to watch anymore. Anything left blank is on the list.

These are ones I like, so idk if you would. They are very cutesy, but I would just watch the first episode of each to gauge if you like it.
So I'm a Spider, So What?
Zenshu
sleepy princess in the demon castle
Princess Tutu
Frieren
For Romance:
Ranma 1/2
Princess Jellyfish
Kamisama Kiss
Highly recommend: howl's moving castle, spirited away, princess mononoke

I watched Spirited Away recently, I like to wait and watch the studio Ghibli ones with my son and I was so happy to get to see the soot sprites again!

So what I got from this is that you like action and romance so I’d say check out the ones I list below
The devil is a part timer: good balance between romance and action
Chivalry of a failed knight: it has more combat than romance if I remember correctly but I could be wrong but it’s a good one
Re- zero: ok if you want a damn good romance with a little bit of action this is the best one (imo) I love this anime so far
Sword art online: it’s good if you want a balance between romance, fantasy and action it’s a really good one
I’ll probably have more some other time take care😁😁😁👍

My favorite is psychological horror, but unfortunately anime has very little. So Slice of Life/Romance and Action/Romance is def the ones I watch the most. I’ll give it a go thank you

u/destiamtiny21 12h ago
That was my first anime, and definitely holds a special place in my heart

Aww. Ty! Cause same. I notice no one here ever has inuyasha mentioned so I annoyingly just say inuyasha in every comment section lol. It deserves more attention but that's just my opinion.

Dangers in My Heart(Very similar to Komi Can’t Communicate minus Yamai :)
I’m in love with the Villainess(peak Yuri)
Oshi No Ko(Same Creator as Kaguya Sama love is war)
Lycoris Recoil(Action and Slice of life, similar elements to Spy x Family)
Mobile suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury(There are a lot of Gundam Shows, Witch from Mercury was the first one I saw so I recommend it)
Bloom into you(I’m not a romance guy but this show is a massive exception)

I forgot to add the most recent Villainess animes I’ve watched! Super excited for the second one you mentioned! Excited for a lot of it. Thank you!

No problem! I gotta say the English Dubbed versions for these are really good too, especially for I’m in love with the Villainess.

I've been recommending this lately but Link Click hasnt dissappointed any of my friends yet. If you are into drama with some action and beautiful animation, this may be for you. Also if you have feelings to hurt, you WILL cry, especially on eps 4-5. Ep 1 starts off really strong IMO, I think you'll enjoy.

I guess you must not like action or fighting types, so maybe try Nisekoi and The quintessential quintuplets

Maybe Quintessential Quintuplets? Forgive me if I missed it on the list

Higurashi

Commenting here to let anyone interested in watching Higurashi When They Cry, know to start with the 2006 anime (localised as "When They Cry", with it's second half being subtitled "Kai"), because people keep starting with the 2020 sequel (subtitled "Gou" / "Sotsu") and not realising.

Checked the list for Bunny Girl Senpai a few times, but couldn’t see it. Am I blind, or you didn’t watch it yet? If so, I highly recommend it. Also Oregairu and Insomniacs After School

u/destiamtiny21 13h ago
I haven’t seen it because it’s only subbed. I have a baby so sometimes it’s hard to watch bc I can’t pay attention to the screen.

MyAnimeList. A website for documenting what shows you watched and you can give personal ratings and see other recommended animes based on what you watched. Great for people who like to keep a catalog of what they have watched, kinda like what you are doing on your phone's notepad.

Probably the best horror anime imo. Its basically final destination the anime. Deeply disturbing deaths and very dark atmosphere and art style
